I agree with inflated. In all three of the categories I usually check there are DOWNLOADS for pre-teen models, incest and free blow jobs to name just a few. This kind of thing has no place here. The site operators need to act and act now! Anyone else agree?

I am sure the moderators will come along and clean things up. We can't expect them to be on-line all the time (i.e. they probably have "lives").

Until then, we can send mean thoughts to the spammer.

Thank goodness they?ve been removed from the Muscle Growth section, but there are still remnants in Surveys and Polls, Main Off-Topic Board, News & Current Events. These idiots don?t know when to stop. Hope Webmaster can surmount the perps. I noticed that many of the "Newest Members" profiles show they are obvious spammers.

I am in talks with Flex to see what the deal is with that.

All you guys need to do is click the button to flag the post, and we all get emails about it. There have been updates to the site that made it nearly impossible for the spam bots to punch through, now it appears there are some that can circumvent that somehow.

Thank you for the post about "we are not always online" cuz we sure ain't! LOL (albeit, it does appear we are...) I am going through all the threads right now to make sure they are all tagged and disposed of properly, and I already found one.

Thanks TeknoDave! From what I can tell the problems seems to have been handled. You guys always do a terrific job. Sorry if my "act and act now" message came across a bit strong. I just meant that the forum at large, both moderators and members, should not tolerate this kind of thing. I realize you've got lives. We all do. However, isn't it best to speak out against such a agressively blatant intrusion at it's onset? Thanks again. It's great to know you guys are so commited to keeping this a quality site.

And one thing people don't sometime realize, that by actually viewing the message, that can trigger more to come, since the bots are seeing that their messages are being read.

So a good rule of thumb, if it looks like spam don't read it!! lol

Flex, optimusx and myself have it covered, and I have actually been catching the bots before they even have a chance to post!

When a new profile is created, and the user name is listed in several categories, such as favorite authors...that kinda raises a red flag.

I have been relaying the IP addresses to Flex and he has been able to put a block on a series of the address, so it will prevent every variant. To elaborate, if the IP address is xx.yy.aa.zz, we are blocking all accounts that are attempted to sign up using and IP starting with xx.yy. New ones are cropping up to circumvent, so we are trying our best to stay a step ahead of the dolts.

That is a very valid point....lol I did not think of that.

Someone would have to read it, but 10 people do not have to read it.

I have a pretty good eye on what is spam and what is not, so I have been able to block and ban the bots without having to open the thread.

Though you are right, you three aren't always on. I have some good ideas on a few fellows who might be interested in the job, if of course, FleX approves of another mod. If he says no, that's fine. Just so you know, none of those "few fellows" are me. I wouldn't make a good mod.
