| I Have Some Personal News For those who talk to me on Yahoo or visit my Da website, You know what goes here. I have been accepted into the Job corp, a government paid program that pays you to learn a new skill. I'm going for Computer Tech. Anyways, I found my leave date. it's December 2nd. Now, I'll be gone for a full year. Granted, I'll be back for Christman and a bit over the Summer, but otherwise I'll be there for a full year. I don't know what kind of facilities I'll be granted, but I know if they do allow internet access I will not be allowed to visit this site. I'll try to pop in when I visit my family for Christmas and the Summer, but I do not know for how long i can. I will still be drawing some good stuff, so I can scan that stuff in and dump it on my DA account *Which is www.j3c3000.deviantart.com for those who didn't know* I'll be leaving for the airport at 3:30 Eastern time. | Since languages evolve in a similar manner to the way species do (ie isolated populations inbreeding cause the isolated population to diverge from the parent population) The easy with which people travel and intercommunicate (both in sight and sound) the world should become more homogeneous over time and possible move to well under a dozen languages in as little as a few hundred years, less is there is some kind of global confict... My bets for the luggages that are likely to be survive include Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, based of population and and what may seem an unlikely choice... English because it currently (even if only grudgingly) generally accepted as the international language of science and technology. Ender... note: Of course everyone here in Battle School and the IF actually speak "Stark" since it is the IF's official language... But "Stark" is pretty much the same as English with some spelling variations... Ender   |
