Mike Demello on Time Warp So, there's a relatively-new Discovery Channel show called "Time Warp", where the point of the show is basically to show things gettiing destroyed, and then again in super-slow motion. It's actually surprisingly interesting; it's sorta like MythBusters (same disembodied narrator, too!). Anyway, an episode called "Taser" ends with a segment on jackhammers... Complete with a big, muscley, shirtless(!) construction worker to handle it. There's even a part where they zoom in on his arm and let you watch as the muscle strains and vibrates trying to keep the jackhammer stable. |3~ http://bbs.imdb.com/title/tt1329949/ I don't have any video, but there's some basic info if someone knows where to look (I sure don't D. |

I can attest to how interesting this show is. Sometimes they do dumb things, but other times, it's surprising to see how much action actually occurs in the time we can't "see". I just saw an episode where they had a martial artist that broke concrete and coconuts. He was shirtless and muscular... which leads me to believe someone in that production crew is interested... but it was cool to see the ligements move when they encounter an opposing force. It all jiggles so much, even in a guy who had very little fat (probably around 8% or even as low as 6%). But yeah. That's all I had to say... __________________ [Insert witty quote here...] |
