As you've indicated, that's a long shot here. However, if you surf the forum, you will find comments from some women on the forum. You might look at some of the story threads, also the thread on KAZ art (which has male-female drawings) for helpful responses.

I find, in general, that most/many women in the general population take the "party line" reaction of "Eeew muscles! Grosss!"

The other reaction, which "popular culture" seems to take, is, "oh, if he's built, good looking and well dressed, he must be "**unavailable". [** as in gay/married/ordained to the priesthood/moving out of town tomorrow/engaged to be married next week/etc.]

[I guess that's why Woody Allen always ends up with the major babe in his movies! ] [Talk about "willing suspension of disbelief"!]

I guess it takes allsorts...plenty of women into muscle but lines are drawn when it comes to competition physiques...the extreme grandeur of them. I love a fine female mind who loves her hypermuscular eye candy...as someone said here they love the idea of being feminine in front of all that blatant masculinity.

Your observations are spot on!

However, the only place you find the "super masculine male" in an "acceptable forum" is in romance novels, particularly the covers! All of the men on the covers look like they are finalists at the Arnold or the Mr. O!

Then you see some of the major dweebs that attractive women in the media go out with: Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez, Reese Witherspoon and (former) husband Ryan Phillippe, Michelle Phiffer and the major troll (can't remember his name) she went out with in the late 90's (long, straight blond hair, glasses, ugly. Name was something like "Fisher Stevens")

Also, why are the half-way big, built and masculine guys in the media always delegated to either "big and dumb" or "doofus" roles?

Case in point: Patrick Warburton as "Puddy" in "Seinfeld" [I always thought in real life that if a women like Elaine Benes actually had a boyfriend as good looking as Puddy, she'd get down on her hands and knees (no, not for that. THAT comes later--shortly before he does! ) and thank her lucky stars!]

i agree i wish their were more women that actualy like muscle i bodybuild and i used to be very skinny and all i get is flak insted of support for being big... I hope i can find a girl im or guy im bi so yeah that likes muscle but thanks to the media bodybuilding isnt as big and peoples reaction normaly is ewwww muscle :/

If my YouTube demographic stats (a feature I discovered only recently) are anything to go by, for every 100 people into big muscles, about 3 are female. (unless it's my hairy chest that's putting them off)
