Superman vs. Alex Part 7 Finally there is a part seven. This is an extremely good series. Please read the whole thing if you haven't already. You will never be disappointed by the muscle and strength descriptions here. I couldn't wait any longer for part 7, so I wrote it myself, an unofficial continuation of Superman vs. Alex. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SuperS...%20vs.%20Alex/ If you wish to know about how Alex became so strong. Read Hulk vs. Alex. http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=ddjkv2mp_3f7nw2m http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=ddjkv2mp_48jx6gd5 __________________ -Monsieur Falcon. -Oui, Monsieur Dracod -Mlle Mercab veut parle avec vous. -Elle n'est pas mort parce que de la fume? -Non, elle n'est pas mort. -Res ipso locutter tabula nephrageo. -Qu'est que c'est? -Palifirum Malificarum. |

Since I wrote Hulk v Alex, I only think it fair to comment here. This new chapter conflates two unrelated stories. One is Alan's Superman v Alex. The second is mine. The two stories are really unrelated and the story lines parallel. Alan never discussed who Dr F was in Superman v Alex, and I never meant Hulk v Alex to be a prequel to the Superman story. The only thing the stories share is the premise of a kid who becomes stronger than his opponents. I too wish Alan would continue the Superman v Alex story. I contacted him prior to part 6 and asked if he'd mind if I (or someone) would take over the story. He said he had plans for it and preferred to write it himself. I can respect that. Writing stories takes a lot of time and effort, and I would like to think that we respect those who take that time by giving them creative control over their stories and characters. __________________ http://www.scott-safier.us "Stand firm for what you believe in until or unless logic or experience prove you wrong. Hey, there Corwin, long time no...um...hear from, I guess. Anyway, thanks for clearing up the relationship between our two stories. Funny I never thought about it before but I can see how someone might get the impression that they are Sequel/Prequel rather than parallel versions on the same theme. I'm a little fuzzy on our discussion about a potential part 6 of Superman v Alex. It's probably a result of me not being clear. While I do have plans for finishing the story, I wouldn't have minded AT ALL if you had penned your own continuation. Now I'm kicking myself for having carelessly given you the wrong impression. You are right, of course, about respecting the work of others. Seeking permission beforehand is only good form. But for future reference, my stuff is fair game as far as I'm concerned, for you or anyone else (though it is always nice to be credited, as both you and tealman have graciously done). The more stories the better. A.T. |

Hey, Ya, work keeps me pretty busy these days. My part 6 would have been similar to Part 2 of Alex v Hulk. Professor F would have tried to double-cross Alex and take his powers for himself. So, I wrote it anyway. As for the etiquette, same here. I've never said no to anyone who asked first if they could continue a story I started (provided I'm not in the middle of the chapter). Look forward to you finishing the, erm, four stories you are in the middle of __________________ http://www.scott-safier.us "Stand firm for what you believe in until or unless logic or experience prove you wrong.
