Blogger Content Warning

I have been having problems accessing certain blogger websites because of content warnings. Everytime I press the "I understand and I wish to continue" button nothing happens. I am stuck on the content warning page and can't see the blog at all. How can I get past the content warning page?

What is private browsing? I don't think I am. I am just using Internet Explorer.

Internet Explorer is itself a pain in the butt, mostly because it doesn't tell you why it's not going anywhere / doing anything.

If you can do so, consider installing Mozilla Firefox -- a tremendously better browser, especially for those of us who are on the low end of the tech savvy scale.

Yeah I agree, you should not be running internet explorer, Period. IE is the biggest piece of crap and it is sooo sloww compared to other browsers. You will see a significant bump in speed if you start using Firefox instead.

Best of Luck

I've experienced the same thing with blogspot.com. It probably wants the scripts for that site before you can continue.

Eh, maybe IE7 or 8 are slow and bloated, but IE6 is the quickest browser around. FireFox runs like molasses by comparison. Now Opera, that's one that has troubles getting buttons and other interactive things working right. It's almost as quick as IE6 though.

Also, Private Browsing.

Yea, I can second that one. I use Opera for my general muscle-based internet viewing, but Firefox when I actually need to use the internet for things that aren't muscles.

Haha, that's how I ended up on Opera too

Though I do have both Opera and FireFox for deluxe features and experimenting with other web apps. I like to keep my IE displays rather minimal, so I disabled a lot of the all-style-no-substance stuff that often annoys me.

For the most part I actually do still use Opera to view a lot of non-muscle things, but when it gets down to it, it's still where I got all these sites bookmarked.

LOL, I'm also similar with the bookmark-splitting. IE6 is my main general purpose link collection, Opera is the muscle & fitness stuff, and FireFox tends to be the anime/manga-related stuff.

I believe many mainstream sites like youtube, facebook, etc. will be phasing out support for IE6 in the near future.

Yeah I saw that message on youtube. Such a pointless move, trying to "fix" things that aren't broken (where "fix" means "deck everything out with a bunch of pointless glitz and eye candy that serves no functional purpose beyond minimalizing compatibility"). Youtube has worked perfectly fine in IE6 since its inception, the only problems being with their flash video player versions and not the site itself. Same for those other sites that have always worked just fine - everything you could possibly need a site to do can be done in IE6. Beyond that, it's just resource-wasting eye candy.

That's not quite true. Developing websites for IE is a BITCH because Microsoft spurns the standards -- and IE6 was especially bad. Yes, Youtube works today, but every web developer will tell you that every new feature or slight change takes much longer, because they have to do it once for IE6 and once for the other browsers. And no, it's not a problem with Flash; Flash is an Adobe product and has nothing to do with IE6 or 7 or 8 or anything.
