Jon Favreau getting huge? I just saw the trailer for his new movie (acting, not directing) called Couples Retreat. While many of you are going to be talking about the Fabio-esque yoga guy (Yowza!) I was stunned to see that Jon Favreau is getting seriously big. I don't think this is just middle age weight gain either. When I went to see I Love You, Man* I noticed him and I thought he had a surprisingly beefy bod, but in the Couples Retreat he looks like he's getting seriously big and, while there's some padding on him, I think that weight he's putting on is less fat and more MUSCLE! I wonder why he's bulking up. Just for his own health/vanity? Is he taking his Iron Man cameo as Happy Hogan seriously? Or maybe Mr. Favreau is taking part in the resurgence of machismo in America that is making big muscles fashionable. It started as a gay phenomenon but now the straights are catching up. Let's hope so! *It was very good for those who like Judd Apatow-style comedies like I do. Check it out. |

It may be just me, but after seeing a pic of him in "Iron Man", I don't see where he is any bigger than he was in the move "Four Christmases". But then again, my version of "HUGE" tends to lean towards the exaggerated/freaky side. D |

Lifter, look at the first shot of the Couples Resort trailer. Like I said, there's a lot of padding on his body (which isn't so bad, depending on the guy) but there's bulk there that you don't get by eating cookies all day. |

Well.... I've looked, and actually the scene further down the video where he has on a blue shirt and standing on the beach, he doesn't look too bad. However, when that shirt comes off he still looks okay, not really built BUILT....he has been at a few cookies from the cookie jar. Now, the guy that comes out of the water onto the beach that is an instructor where the woman says "who is THAT?", now that instructor should be those guys motivation right there to get into more shape! no he is not huge at all, that's not how I would describe him either. but what a funny scene at the very end when that swim instructor is helping Favreau' s character's wife get limber |

From what I was told, he use to be quit built when he was younger I think it was after swingers when he was built but I could be wrong __________________ Play nice people. |

I like Favreau, but come on; he's just fat. That flick has bomb written all over it. |
