keep up the hard work man! You'd make a great wrestling or sparring opponent for me!
LOL...thanks, EJ. Maybe I'll have to take you up on that if I ever make it to CO.

aaaahhh!!!!

Holy shit batman, did you see those thighs? Or were they massive boulders of pulsating muscle just waiting to crush my entire body between them?

Jesus H.... and I thought I had powerful thighs.

I'd run, but with legs like that, I think running would be futile.

You can kill me now.

Thanks everyone! But that's the weird part -- I haven't really done anything to get them like that. They pretty much just came that way.

For the last three weeks, all I've done is three sets of squats with two 50lb-75lb dumbells for about 10 to 20 reps, and then three sets of leg curls with up to 70lbs total. Before that all I did was some bodyweight squats before each workout. (As part of my overall warm up.) And all of this is only for the past year.

I really have to give the credit to my bizarre genetics. I consider myself very lucky in that department. I only wish my upper body had been as blessed. (Now, imagine those thighs on the proverbial "90lb weakling" above the waist . Not pretty.)

Bizarre is an understatement. I know I hit my legs pretty hard and they don't look half as good! I mean, you've got a great spread on them and the beginnings of a great teardrop! I'm jealous Maybe I should take a page out of your training book!

Your wheels are amazing! I'm totally jealous. I'm not a big one on proportion; I like to see every muscle get as huge as it can! If I were you, I'd always wear shorts. Even in the snow.

Legs and other parts

Nice legs Digibacker!

A question relating to the thread- do you feel you are growing the rest of your body to match the obvious musclarity of your legs?

Thanks Ogrebear!

That's an interesting question. From my own perspective, I don't see them as a motivating factor. I would've wanted to build up a bigger body anyway. I love the big, beefy look. (Used to idolize bigger guys and characters in TV shows as a kid.) I'm just lucky my legs had a head start, otherwise I would've had to work them hard with everything else right from the beginning.

However, you got me thinking. I've always gotten compliments and even "gasps" from people when I wear shorts in the summer. Perhaps indirectly that was a motivator for me to work out. Maybe it got my subconscious thinking, "if they like the legs, wonder what they'd think if I did the upper body?"

But if so, it happened way, deep down. Not something I had thought about consciously.

Going back to be start of the thread, I recently had the opportunity to live 4 days with 3 big bodybuilders. 2 that I'm very close with and their roommate. Despite all the emotional issues I'm dealing with at the moment, living that brief few days with huge guys around was one of the best weekends I can ever remember. I'm not that small, but they all had me by 30-40lbs and at least 4" in height. And most of their gay friends that we went to dinner with and later clubbing were just as big or bigger.

Not only did I get to experience being "out" and comfortable with others of my new family but I did it with a great bunch of guys who just happened to be huge and oh so good to look at, hug with and be close with.

I can hardly wait to get back down to be with them again.

Hello all. I thought I'd revive this thread because I enjoyed reading about muscle in everyday situations, but I also have something I'm starting to notice. Now don't get me wrong, I am in no way in the big leagues yet, but after awhile of working out now, I am getting toned and hard. What I'm noticing is that its getting uncomfortable sitting and lying down. My built-in cushioning isn't there anymore. If the chair or the matress isn't soft, I'm uncomfortable, because it feels hard now, and like I'm sitting on peaks.

I'm also just starting to fill out the smallest of my clothes, which amuses me of course, but that subject has been talked about here many many times.

Great site here and great people. My thanks and compliments to you all!

...you may find that as your shoulders get broader;you'll need an extra pillow. It can be very painful, otherwise.Congratulations!

Living with a bodybuilder

I lived with one for about 8 months. All clothes were bought extra large and then went to a tailor for numerous alterations. Lots of laundry as they sweat real easy and there are work clothes, gym clothes, and clothes worn around the house, and if they are doing cardo, even more clothes to wash.

Tons of food and lots of cooking. Eating at least six times a day, or yeah and where did all the toilet paper go, seems like your always putting on a new roll.

Also a lot of resting, tv watching, dvd rentals and I was lucky, he liked to wrestle, so it all worked out.

Not just the problems of getting clothes that fit , but things like travel, puiblic reactions, eating out, that sort of thing.

And also what is it like at the real top end- what must it be like to be a big as a competative bodybuilder. How difficult is it to move, bend, or walk? Whats the differances between on and off season? Whats sex like when your that big? Is it easy to break things when your that strong? Do supplements and drugs change the way family life works?

Reason I ask is because so many of the stories I read deal with the transformation, the growth of massive muscle but few seem to deal with the aftermath of what living huge must be like!

So please, please share your experancies!

Thanks.

One day I would love to either be the huge guy or help the huge guy out, just to experience this.
