Thrust is on a distinguished road
Belly issues?

So, I'm a fairly small guy (5'6", 150lb), but I've never been particularly skinny. This is the most I've ever weighed and somehow I always end up looking stocky (and I've been 5'6" for several years). Anyway, all of the weight that I put on lately has been in my gut. My boyfriend likes my little belly (he says it's comfortable, unlike his perfectly chiseled abs...) but it makes me self conscious, especially since all the shirts I own are (American) size small and show my belly way too much if I don't suck it in a bit.

I'm at a dilemma. I want to please him, and I do sorta like how it feels sometimes (though it's strange now that it's just starting to get in the way of bending over and such), but I also want to be healthy and look good.

Any thoughts?

Forget the bf....

....how do YOU feel about "having a gut"?

If you don't like it, don't try to convince yourself you like it!

[And work on doing something about it -- like getting it off]

Just be comfortable in your own skin. As they say, "Do you" don't worry about what other people think. If your sig other is fine with it and you're fine with it then what does it matter?
