Body Building Mags

Anybody have any recommendations as to which one is the best to get a subscription to? Preferably where it the advertisements take up less than 50% of each issue.

First off, they all are overrun with ads. No way around that.

Second, taste in BB mags is a bit like taste in gyms: some guys want mainstream, some want non-threatening, some want old school. I only subscribe to Muscular Development.

Third, the best info (and the worst info) can be found online. If you're looking for ideas about diet and routines and BB stars, it's all online.

What are you looking for in a magazine?

Just some general info without having to weed through a dozen multipage "who's NO2 is the best" ads, preferably nothing too set in one way of doing things either.

Mdlftr will become famous soon enough
Iron Man, for best balance: writing, pix, overall good advice

MMInternational for the interviews, pix and eye candy

Exercise for men: if you like fitness models with a bit of that "he's just my roommate and we're saving up to buy a second bed, so don't read anything into it" vibe, that's the one.

Muscular Development: kinda stodgy

Thanks Mdlftr, anybody read Reps too? I've seen in on news stands but never pucked up an issue, lately it's been the occasional Flex when I can swing it. I do like the eye candy in the last couple I've bought.....but don't think that those gals would have been much interest most of the guys on here though

I'll admit, that one made me laugh out loud when I read it, not really my vibe so thanks for the warning
