| Intriguing beginning: bucolic setting, nestled in the woods.. Large space with high ceilings... wealthy, mysterious, unseen (as of yet) owner.... restrictions on being visible to the owner's friends.... Clues from gay Charles (with the fake personality [very nice touch, that. Shows that it's the fakeness, not the being gay, that is the problem with Charles] about "Roger" the owner... The narrator is almost a cipher. There are no details about him except that he is a grad student (so probably mid to late 20s), has had exclusive relationships, and is not in the closet... Very interesting to see where all these elements will end up! You've certainly caught my interest! Good job! Mdlftr |
