Inspired by Wolfman's Thread...

Hey guys, long time viewer, but first time poster, really.

Confession:
One of my guiltiest, vainest of pleasures is trying on old t-shirts to see how they fit, compared to how they fit a while ago before I started working out seriously.

Inspired by Wolfman's absolutely impressive transformation thread, I thought I would actually upload one of mine in the same style. Here is a shirt I wore apparently 1 1/2 years ago, before I started working out regularly.

Before 1

And here I am...10 minutes ago in the same shirt.

After 1
After 2
After 3

I still have quite a distance to go to get to the shape I want to be in...but here is where I stand currently.

Thanks guys. I plan on keeping with it. The toughest part has been having to change my diet to eating far more than I had ever eaten previously. But I've adjusted.

The morning hours usually consist of 3/4th cup of egg whites mixed with 1 regular egg, 1/2 cup oatmeal, one scoop of protein.

late morning is 2 tablespoons of natural Peanut Butter and a large apple

I workout around 12:15 Mon - Thurs.

Two scoops of Protein immediately after the workout.

2 Chicken breast and broccoli sometime after the gym.

A protein bar in the late afternoon, around 4:00 PM.

Then dinner, usually chicken, fish, or steak with a little white rice. I like to have most of my carbs early in the day. My body tends to utilize it better that way, I've come to find out over time.

I agree with msldan, you looked good in your before pics. I see veins in the current pics already. Don't get too carried away with the cutting.....the mass looks great! Congrats on your progress.

personally i think you should keep growing so thick and muscular , your muscles will be screaming for room ... stretching the seams to the point you burst out of the shirt. standing there flexing with a cocky smirk, and a rip in some parts of the shirt .... revel in your thickness and get worshipped. then again that would be my goal as well

Thanks guys. I was always somewhat of an athletic guy, but I never had really lifted weights before. Originally, I just wanted to put on some muscle, then try to get back to that size. But I've come to find out that I enjoy the mass I've put on since then, and I'm just interesting in seeing just how far my body can go naturally.

I don't plan on freak cutting or anything. As I said before, I enjoy the mass I've put on and the strength I've gained, and the thought of losing either as a result of cutting is not something I'm even going to consider. Just looking for more definition and to lose some fat around the waist that I've picked up along the way. After that, I'll get right back to clean bulking and gaining more size and strength. To the limits.

At the request of a friend, I'll share something that happened to me while I was vacationing in Detroit last week.

I ran into an old family friend who's about a year older than me. It's been quite a while since we've seen each other. When he saw me his jaw just about hit the floor. lol. The first thing he says is "Damn man, whatever you're eating, give me a few portions!" lol. He has a nice runners build, very lean, but has been trying to bulk up a little for a while, but has a hard time gaining. He said he has to get me to the gym he works out at so he can see me "in action" lol. Said something about wanting to see the kind of weight I can throw around the gym.

He's actually a member of the very first Powerhouse Gym in Highland Park, MI, right outside of Detroit. I said I'd be happy to see it next time I'm in town. Everyone else just kept commenting on how big I am and all that. I was lifting something in my grandpa's apartment and he said that it looked like my traps were about to rip through my shirt. lol I shy away from stuff like that though, quick to change the subject. But it's nice to hear whatever gains I've made is apparent. lol.

Anyway, here's an update on back and quads.

A little update

Currently standing around 215. I've noticed a certain leaning, but I haven't lost a lot of weight, so I'm excited that whatever little modification I made to my diet and routine is working, because that was what I wanted to do.

Nothing hugely significant. I guess there may be slight changes, but I could hardly begin to tell you what. I don't have my tape measurer anymore, I have no clue how much I weight anymore, but things feel tighter, so I take that as a good sign. And all my pants are completely useless now. None of my jeans fit over my legs comfortably anymore. It's obscene.

Thanks man. Yeah, the marks have been there for years, long before I started working out. I've been told that it happens to those that grow too long, too tall, too fast, which certainly happened to me. I went from 5 something to 6'1 it seemed overnight, so I've had those marks there ever since.

Well, yes and no.
I'm still quite modest, it's just how I was brought up and what I believe in.
But I'm no where near as shy as I used to be. I don't stand around in the gym and stare at myself in mirrors, or check to see who is looking at me. I do what I need to do and, when I'm finished, I'm done. But when someone comments on my size or whatever, I'm quick to change the subject. But if they want to talk about working out in general, I'm more than happy to share what I've learned through trial and error and things I've gained over time. But by no means do I wilt in a corner and shy away from attention...I just don't seek it out.
