| I hear some very strange stories on the various news channels I have and sometimes I really do not know what to make of them. Are they being honest or is it just a way to promote their nation's authority? So this report on Russia Today really got me thinking "And the reason for this is...?" Prime Minister Valdimir Putin aims to become the first elected offical in the world to be elected Prime Minister and hold a national title in bodybuilding. Prime Minister Putin was today seen leaving the premier bodybuilding gym in Moscow and it has led to suggestions that he will be entering the Mr. Russia contest to be held in Moscow later this year. First it was Putin dressed in just trousers outdoors, then he released a martial arts DVD and now potentially this? Is he trying to make the next Russian election "Vote for the muscles"? __________________ The stronger they are, the more muscled they are     |

| I dont know, but the man is kinda sexy. And I saw some shots of him half undressed and he definitely has the frame for it. And you know Russian guys sometimes pack more than just a capability for big ass muscle. | anpu, that was creepy! But so is Vladimir Putin. I'm still freaked out by that video of him pulling up some kid's shirt and kissing it. Why did he do that? To a stranger's kid! And that's on top of the way he's running Russia. Just because he's not in charge anymore doesn't mean he's not still in charge. |

| I can admire Putin for his achievements, being athletic is one thing, but this whole media obsession with his body is a big load of bull to me. Im actually having dificulty imagining him as being considered attractive to anyone but the desperate at least photogenically. __________________ Dont Do Supplements |

| Putin is appealing to the traditional Russian desire for a strong man, both literally and figuratively. He was in the KGB as a young man, the leader of his country in his prime, and is attempting - when middle-aged - to reinvent himself as a guy with "vigah". |
