Widen muscles

SO for some reason I feel like my muscles are getting bigger vertically but not horizontally. Like if you look at me dead on, it looks like I haven't made any progress in the last year, but as soon as I turn to the side it's apparent my arms have gotten bigger. Any advice?

Stick to the 3 major exercises for mass--squats--that is not leg presses--squats with good form! deadlifts, and bench presses and a fourth exercise pull ups--bicep curls, and most every other exercise are finishing exercises but are not major mass builders.

Same here

I notice it with my arms especially. They seem taller, but I wouldn't say they're thicker. Is this normal?
