Nature of your interest in muscle?

As the title suggests, I'm curious as to what the nature is of your interest in muscles and muscle growth. See the poll options to understand what I'm getting at.

EDIT: And just for clarification, the "Personal, but sexual" option is referring to a desire to be muscular, distinguishing it from "Muscle Fantasy", which is purely a fantasy thing.

Im turned on by having big muscles myself and also in other muscle. This was not an option unfortunately

I kind of assumed that people would generally have one of the categories as a best description.

Aielyn, I'm curious...is this poll directed at guys without muscular builds or am I just interpretting it that way? There are a lot of built guys on this site that have more than an "idea" of what it's like to be muscular but being muscular is a big part of the "fantasy" for them. I'm not meaning to split hairs or anything, just curious about your intent for the poll.

Well, I didn't target it at anyone in particular. I figure, though, that guys who are already muscular and are here are either going to be here for one of the non-personal reasons (like being turned on by muscles on *other* guys) or want to get even bigger. And if a guy just likes being worshipped for their muscles (and is turned on by such worship), I'd call that "Incidental".

Are there actually muscular guys here who don't fit into any of the categories? If it's just an impression regarding the wording, then it's probably because I'm not particularly big (yet), and I wrote them from my own perspective. I didn't really stop to think specifically about guys who are significantly larger or smaller than me.

It definitely is a perspective thing, then...not a critique or a judgement, just and observation. I know a lot of muscular guys (not just on this site) that being muscular is a pretty sexual turn-on for them. Just because you have it doesn't mean you don't appreciate it in yourself AND others.

muscles are hot for me. i liked being muscular. i like muscular men. but what i really loved was getting bigger myself and seeing others get bigger.

i think that is the main point of this site...at least for me.

I've been hot for muscle since age 8 at least. I get so turned on going to a gym can be very difficult. I do also get hard at the thought of becoming a muscle beast that then flexes for smaller guys and owns there ass.

I'm finding the numbers to be very interesting. Over 70% have a sexual reaction to muscles as their primary form of interest, of which about half react to the idea of themselves having the muscles and the other half react to other men having the muscles. Just under half of the remaining 30% are more interested in the transformation, the obtaining of muscles, rather than having them.

A smaller portion are interested in muscles from a purely personal perspective, wanting to obtain them and finding muscle images and stories to help with inspiration, and about as many like the fantasy of muscles moreso than any possible reality.

Thanks for this poll, it's a good chance for a little reflection.

I keep expecting to wake up and realllllly just want to lift and grow huge. But more and more I'm seeing it's just not my thing. Being thin and liking muscular, isn't all that respected a view; to get with a buff guy you have to be buff (unless you happen to be a straight woman, I guess).

But there's more than one way to be healthy, eh?

I'm a normal size guy who's turned on by big muscles on other guys.....no desire to be big myself but find muscle on others so sexy....says it all really. What I have found in life is there are few big guys who want normal size guy like me. I'm no slouch, I go to the gym and keep trim but no desire to be big. Can be frustrating!

I think the seed for my path to growth and wanting to get huge was planted by watching the anime show dragon ball Z when I was younger looking at these super human people getting bigger and bigger by powering up I liked the fort of it happening to my self from there did push ups and stuff but not much happned untill I got older now I'm growing good and keeping it up!!
