P90X vs. Insanity

Hi Everyone,
I have seen other threads on other forums about this idea.
However, I want to hear from all of you about which is better:

P90X or Insanity

I have been thinking about them but still haven't made up my mind and would appreciate any feedback you can give me whether on this thread or private message me...

I look forward to your opinions...

Has anyone...

I appreciate everyone viewing this thread.
To keep it fresh and going...

Has anyone tried the P90X or the Insanity Workout?

or

Does anybody know of someone who has done them?

I appreciate everybody's opinion as well as what you think about these programs.

Thanks!

Well I cannot say how well the Intensity program works, as I have not tried it. But P90X I can definitely support. I started it about 1.5 months ago, and the first phase produced impressive results. Mind you it won't make you huge, but it will improve definition with a still impressive gain in size. You workout every day, but the last day is the light routine. You alternate between strength and endurance every other day (Back and chest/Plyometrics or Cardio/Shoulders and Arms/Yoga/Back and legs/Kempo/Stretching). I was able to ration my time between college and work to do that, but it is hard.

If you have the time and commitment, I would go for P90X. It is intense, but you get results if you push yourself (of course the flexing and sweating eye candy tends to help motivate you, as well. Oh how I relish Phase 2's Back and Biceps day with Tim).

ehem.

Good luck on making your choice!

time commitment?

how much time does it require of you per week?

If the gains in size aren't much - i am not sure I want to dedcicte that much time

Time commitment

Approximately 50 minutes a day, equating to 5 hours a week. More if you decide to do the "ab ripper X" routine, which you do 3 days a week.

Oh, you will see a good gain in size. What I meant was that I did not believe that one would be able to get huge. Then again, I am only just starting phase 2, so I have not done the complete program.

Time, Commitment, and Size

It seems that with both programs you will have to commit 45+ minutes of your time to their programs and at least 5-6 times in a week. Instead of me sitting on the couch playing online games and watching TV, I could use the time more efficiently to get my a** going in changing my habits (that could another thread).
As for gains, they say you will gain size and lose bodyfat which is what I want. I don't necessarily want to be a bodybuilder but I know I want to be more fit and that is important.
