I can't tell, I have bigger muscle on one side of my body. I asked the same thing to my friends and they could not tell! So don't worry! Anyhow most people will only be looking at your muscles thinking how hot you look! I did |
| |||
really ? thanks ^^ but i'm afraid of both getting big , so big , and then the difference comes obvious ! |
| |||
Only you will notice 1 arm is bigger than the other. Im guesing you flex and check out your growth in the mirror? That's how I found my right pec is bigger now notice other things bigger on my right side! But do check my progress a lot! Keep growing mate, good work so far!! |

Hey Man, Everyone has size differences in their bodies. Don't worry about it -- the longer you keep working out, the more the size will equalize or become less noticeable! AS other posters have said, no one will notice the size differences -- they'll be too busy admiring how good you look! Keep pumping! Mdlftr |

Just don't tell anyone and no one will notice. No one is perfectly symetrical. Study your face and you'll probably see that your eyes don't like up or that your nose slants a bit. All these flaws are part of what makes you YOU. Don't worry about them! |

Everyone is right! Symmetry is a rare commodity when it comes to our bodies! My arms are not the same size so this is common with most guys and even girls! |

indeed, my nose parts aren't the same thanks guys for helping. you really toke the weight off my back thanks again |

Everyone has focused on the element of "a bit of asymmetry is fine". I'll address the flipside. Imbalance in your muscles (if it's an actual imbalance, and not purely cosmetic in nature) is addressed naturally, by making sure that both sides are worked "equally" in terms of what they have to do. If you do, say, a one-arm dumbbell bench press, and manage 8 reps at a certain weight on your "weak" side, make sure you do exactly the same on your "strong" side - no more than 8 reps at the same weight. Also, try to prioritise exercises that separate the two sides - dumbbell bench press forces each side to work independently, whereas with barbell bench press, your strong side can take up a bit of extra slack. So dumbbell bench press will be more effective for addressing imbalances. All of this is assuming that your chest has a strength imbalance, and not just a size imbalance. A size imbalance without a strength imbalance might just mean that the muscles on one side are a little more dense than the other, and therefore take up a little less space. Nothing to be concerned about, in that case. |

when i saw you saying "afraid of getting big" I thought: what a hot idea for a story XD also the right side of the body and teh left side are never the same and maybe working them out will make the difference even less noticeable. And those are hot pics __________________ The Internet is for PORN! -Trekkie- http://chocomus.deviantart.com/ http://yaoi.y-gallery.net/user/chocomus/ |

My boyfriend had a problem like this, but he just kept working out and they kind of evened out by themselves. It's possible that there's some fatty tissue lingering around there (common to be stubborn and cling to the chest for guys) and it's hard to point out because of the muscle underneath. What everyone else said is kinda true, a little bit of asymmetric is fine. If it doesn't work itself out in the end, then you should continue to workout, but give your right pectoral muscle a little extra workout with chest flies or some such. |

your body isnt perfectly symmetrical left and right inside or outside, my right foot a half a size smaller than the left, asymmetries like that are so common people don't even notice them and in the long run its a very small difference __________________ http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/darkwulf/ |

Hey Bara! Just saw this thread. That's a helluva body you have, by the way! You keep working out and you're going to love the results. But even now, it'd get me to take a second look. In your chest exercises, switch to dumbbells and cable exercises, and eliminate any barbell or other exercises in which one side can help the other. Also, find someone to check your form in the chest exercises to ensure that you're really isolating the pecs. You'll soon discover if one side is weaker than the other and that's why you're a little uneven. Good luck man...any guy who'd be bothered by the slight difference in size...rather than enjoying all the other good things about you...isn't someone you want. |
