Scruffy Scott Adkins in the gym, still hot? I'm not a huge fan of the scruffy look, but Scott Adkins just coming off a workout looks great. Luckily he usually shaves for his roles. http://bit.ly/rsiLho |

Nooooooo... He should NOT shave. If anything, I want him to get even more scruffy and bearded. He's already phenomenally handsome and bad ass. He is aiming for impossible levels of gorgeous here and I think he will make the impossible possible. One exception, however: He can't convince me to go see Expendables 2. I saw that first forearm festival and felt cheated. I love Scott but I'll wait for him to get a better vehicle for his star to shine in (which is any movie not featuring The Expendables.) |

By the way, you unintentionally told me about Metal Hurlant Chronicles and I just want to thank you because that show is gonna be muscle heaven. |

Your welcome I think he shouldn't hide those features under all that hair. Btw why weren't you a fan of Expendables? |

ohhhhh, I'm gonna rant here: Minor problem that was major for me: a severe lack of shirtlessness. Any film with Jason Statham that only shows his back because his shirt flies up in the wind is a travesty! There were so many hot men in that but we only see flabby old Sylvester Stallone and Mickey Rourke showing the goods. Mickey was okay, but not great. Sly is past his prime so it was just not pleasant. 2. Much more important: The action was poorly edited in my opinion. Shots were cut between too quickly for me to understand what was happening. 3. Uber Important: I didn't get invested in the characters. I really wanted to feel involved in the Expendables world but that didn't happen. More people needed to die, frankly. They needed to die and suffer and have important things happen to them. Statham's subplot with the girlfriend was unnecessary except that it introduced us to Hank Amos, who was the evil boyfriend. Frankly, I just saw the whole movie as a parade of missed opportunities for artistry, for awesomeness, and for homoeroticism. All action films, in my opinion, should have a homoerotic edge, even knowing that majority of viewers are straight men. Does that explain enough, Sage? Too much? Yeah, too much. Sorry! |
