I think he was arrested for beating up his wife or girlfriend at the time, think it was the later 90's, It was a few years after the sitcom with Him, Patrick Duffy, and Suzan Summers was off the air, but close enough for the news media to use that show as a referece for who he "was".

I saw him in a new movie called Tale of An Ancient Empire, a real B rated movie about vampires. He only has a small part at the start and end of the movie. But he sure was huge!!!!

I looked into the whole prison thing. It turned out his wife at the time was a drug addict that was getting violent with their kids. He had to get physical to restrain her, then she went everywhere selling her story that she was beaten. If it says anything about the outcome, he got sole custody of their children and she only got 5 visitation days a year in the end. (All this according to info I found here and there.)

That explains why there was so little said after that as to what happened. Don't know if it was the character he played on that show or not, but that didn't seem like something he would do.

I wasn't sure who this guy was. Apparently, waaayy back he played J.R. Ewing's illegitimate son on the evening soap, Dallas.

There he was on "Step by Step" a series on from 1991-1997, starring Patrick Duffy and Suzanne Sommers as parents of a blended family.

He played the cool cousin of one of the children. He had a few catchphrases, such as "Dude!" "Dude-sy!" "No way!" and "Ch-yeah!"

Anyway, he's 44 now, older, wiser and buff-er!!

I remember a little of him from Step by Step when he played the cool, if somewhat braindead, cousin Cody.
The only line of his I remember was when he surprisingly (even to himself) had a clever idea- "Dude! It's like my brain has a mind of it's own!"

Hopefully he's gotten over his violent tendencies and can rebuild his career. I know there was one TV interview where he openly admitted to beating up a girlfriend but said he was getting help for it. I'm more than willing to give him another chance (unlike that asshole Chris Brown who hasn't apologized for beating up Rhianna.)
