Anyone here like Machoke?

To me, Machoke is very hot. The best Pokemon ever.

I absolutely love Machoke, how large his pecs are hehe...

Though, I gotta admit, I like Machamp just a bit more..the thought of him pinning me against a wall with two arms and flexing the other two gets me every time

I didn't really see Adler as lolbuff until later. Bryce had a nice bod too, though, just not bigbigbig like the others.

I used to have Machoke as a pokemon because he was kinda cool looking. . . His stats made me cry though.

I agree ^^ I always regetted that Machoke was kind of a "weak" Pok?mon that never made it to get carried with me.

And Norman, Drake, Noland and Byron. I only mentioned the ones who are clearly muscular.

My favorite Pokemon
It's a pity that Machoke was not quite a powerful Pokemon. I never saw it win a fight.

It's really hard to think it's not a powerful Pokemon and never wins fights, because in it's profile it's said to be a superpower pokemon that always stays in the zone. It's said to have thoroughly toned muscles that possess the hardness of steel that become thicker after every battle and full of power, their body's never get tired and they can lift heavy objects like sumo wrestlers and dump trucks with one finger.

I also heard they're so powerful that they have to wear that power-save belt around their waist to keep their power in check and regulate their motions. Without it they would be unstoppable and dangerous.

With the right moves and strategies against the right opponents I'm sure it can win battles. In the anime, however, many Machoke trainers seemed to focus on brute strength and not on strategy- a fatal mistake.

Have a look on the 3rd link I posted, then you will see what happens, if you remove the belt

Anyway I always had this fantsy of Machoke having the ability to inflate his muscles to increase his fighting power. I figured with his power save belt, if Machoke loosens it his muscles increase.

Yeah, you pretty much summed up everything they say about him in the Pokedex and in other games. Machop was kinda cute, Machoke is just straight out cool, and Machamp is a swing/miss, he's huger, but the 4 arms and face-change is kind of takes him a step down from Machoke IMO.

He is outclassed so easily and is slow, so any practical use for him (even in game half the time) isn't really recommended. I'd like to think it's because the belt, which weakens him so he doesn't kill/really hurt other Pokemon. Machoke is also "in the zone" 'cause it's the only one who out right learns No Guard, which makes ALL of his attacks hit 100% regardless of if the target is flying/digging/diving, so it makes Machoke seem unrelentless to land a hit. It'd be cool to see a Machoke-Based TF here to see something out of the ordinary. He's pretty kickass despite the stats in the games.

Yeah, I hate how Machoke is underrated in the games. The developers should've put more thought into him on the games intstead of making him as useful as a rock. Oh well like you said, despite the games he's still kickass and a great looking Pokemon. I also alway's hate that stereotype that more muscles will wane down speed. I like to think the other way around that muscles accelerate speed, sometimes.

BTW that's a really nice picture...

Well for the first two generations he was good and useful, just slow. But as the generations went on, more and more pokemon came out. Generation 4/5 comes out and throws tons of haxy sweepers, making him totally useless for normal competitions and battle tower. One could hack to make his IVs 31 all around and have max EVs in Speed/Attack which would make him better than most in game Pokemon, and No Guard could be used to ensure some of the strongest (and least accurate moves) hit. . . I'm thinking about using him as a starter, he's a beast for the most part.

As for muscle making you slow. . . It doesn't make sense. But according to his information, he NEEDS the Power Belt to coordinate any movement since he is super powered and inconsistent in movement otherwise; his muscles would probably make him overshoot when it comes to moving any part of his body. With that said, maybe he can only move at a medium pace because that's the only way he can get around. Muscle also makes you less flexible, so that would hurt with maneuverability, which is probably what the "speed" stat also pretends to cover in the game. I imagine taking off the Belt would make his true strength show, which would be like unleashing a crazed Groudon onto an unsuspecting town or city.

All this Machoke talk makes me wanna use Machoke as a centerpiece for my "write for fun so *insert task I do around the writing* doesn't get boring" task(s). Confound these Machokes, they drive me to writing.
