All of these Alexey vids were posted yesterday on bodybuilding.com and followed by the usual verbal abuse from the insecure twits that make up the majority of the site's members: "He's fat", "he looks like a water bottle", "I don't like his shape", blah, blah, blah. Nothing Alexey has accomplished seemed good enough for that group.

Sybil, Roelly Winklaar's grandmotherly-looking trainer, was asked in one of their forums why she stopped posting there and she replied (paraphrased) that the group trashed about everything she posted, so she stopped posting. Then they proceeded to trash her for not posting.

Sigh... BB.com is a good site for finding pix, vids, and information but respectful discussions are few.

Agreed. I was just trying to put a number to the mass of that massive fireplug of a guy because 121 kilos doesn't mean much to me.

As someone who is perpetually in the offseason look, I appreciate the bulky, strong physique. This guy is 6 inches shorter and 17 pounds heavier than I am, is bulky as hell, and can move some serious iron around.

Ok, I admit it. I'm impressed.

The guy can do whatever the hell he wants because every bodybuilder on this planet is obsessed with the way he is developed. He is amazing to say the least, but I have to agree with gymini that he is jeopardizing his health.

He is beyond the point of no return now obviously because he will grow.....and grow.....and grow.....until he can't grow no more, which will be when he keels over.

I'm not being nasty, just honest. His body can accommodate huge amounts of muscle, but he will soon be unable to walk at this point. (Sorry, I just got funny images in my head! Michelin Man anyone?)

Ok, I know your mouth is full of your foot, but could you answer the following question:
Do you actually know what dosages of HGH and roids he's injecting?

My opinion, he's huge, and good for him. For all we know, he could be natural. And before anyone flames me, I take it at face value. If someone says they're natural, then I'll believe them until they tell me otherwise or they're proven they're not.

I also wonder why people seem to "know" how much roids someone is taking. Quite often they are people who have no clue as to how anabolic steroids work, thinking that take large dosages will get huge results. No. Correct and thought out dosages and cycles get the best results. It's the abusers (which clearly Alexey is NOT) do stupid things like take 10x the required amount and stuff themselves up.

End of opinion.

I think the same thing as Gymini, but I usually keep that to myself. He hasn't said anything about steroids, so I believe him for now. People also forget the fact that everyone is different. It's possible for someone to have genes that make them muscle-building machines due to how their body treats muscle. So he could be natural, but could also have a huge advantage due to his genes - which is probably the case.

As for steroid usage. . . Dose has nothing to do with it (though x10 the amount = fatal, obviously), even when properly controled over a long period of time still has negative and permanent effects on the body. Roids cause abnormally high plasma levels, which means the heart has more to pump/causes higher blood pressure. Then there's the effect of the HGH which causes organs to actually grow (usually the intestines) - thus demanding the heart to work even harder in order to supply blood to the huger organ.

Luckily~ The advances in medicine make it easy to control heart problems. Heck, simply popping an asprin these days cuts down your chance of having a heart attack (when the doctor says so). So maybe they'll still live long lives anyway. Either way, it's kind of a downer to talk about steroids since it'll always lead into the negative aspects of it. :|




ON TOPIC! He's looking pretty good. I only like to look at his face from certain angles, though. His face looks like it's far too young for the body its on, which just makes me feel like a pedophile looking at a buff young athlete. Ewwww. But men keep growing until 25ish at the latest, so maybe his face will even out with his body.

My two cents, for what it's worth, I think it's more likely than not that our dear Alexey has been using performance enhancing drugs; please notice that this is a statement of probability, and not a statement of fact. Regardless if he is juicing or not, he has never looked bigger, but he has in the past looked healthier. I hope he can continue to grow even larger so long as it doesn't jeopardize his health.

What absolutely AMAZES me is that he doesn't look fat! Most men, even those over 6 feet, would look like bloated balloons at 267 pounds! Alexey, who is well below 6 feet looks muscular and strong, if a bit "padded". He does have amazing genetics!

I also agree that the baby face adds a frisson of creepiness to the whole thing.

This is the best he has looked EVER! This is the Lesukov I would love to see at all times. I'm sure the photo has been cleaned up, but look at how thickly muscled and vascular he is and his hands are immense. He looks so incredibly handsome here. Alexey was one of the few... "disappointments" at the FIBO this year. Sure, he is big but somehow he did not look THAT big! But this might have been due to his very wide t-shirt he wore....

Additionally I have to mention, that Martin is quite tall for a pro bodybuilder. I'm about 1,81 to 1,83 m (5'9" to 6'0") tall and Martin wasn't much smaller as you can see.

Some pro's that I've seen up close always seem way smaller than I envisioned.
I think that maybe because we idolise them, they seem to be bigger than life. And, I'd imagine, that most of the vids or pics that are floating around, quite often put them in the best angle that enhances their bodies.

But, as you said Ronnie, he was wearing a t-shirt (or tent for more "normal" builds?). Maybe had he stripped down to posing trunks (drool), you might not have been as disappointed?

I can confirm this based on my experiences made at the FIBO. Which doesn't mean these guys were someway small! One of the few exceptions: Martin Kjellstrom, who was really incredibly huge! And I'm not saying this just because I took a foto with him
