richard, what a lot of work you put into gathering all these posts into one thread. i'm honored.

my buddy is still working out but his weight has hit a plateau. it's been varying between 270 and 285 depending on his diet and cardio. we haven't gotten together for a worship session in a while. we've both been busy and in our own relationships. but i do see him regularly and we email a couple days a week. my buddy's bf has gotten a bit bigger. i think he's around 245 now, super lean. he looks amazing. and my "little friend" lou has leaned back out and weighs about 190 now. lou looks a lot better leaner...to me anyway.

been working on my non MG writing and am still looking for employment.

Well it IS the internet! Imagining what you can't see is pretty cool. The IDEA of someone growing that big over a long period of time (a decade or more) is pretty inspiring! That's my takeaway from these kinds of stories:
Perserverance wins out in the long run in achieving your goals....
