Perhaps I Took It A Little Too Far (Part 2)

I fully intended to post this last night, but passed out on the couch mid-sentence! But sometimes a little rest makes things even better

Part 1

Perhaps I Took It A Little Too Far (Part 2)

The next day flew by at work because of some overdue projects. I got home late and fully intended to jog, but I opted to veg out on the sofa. We weren?t working out that day anyway, so Erik wouldn?t be missing me. Around bedtime I got a text from Erik. He said he wasn?t sure what was in that workout supplement but he was more energetic today than he has been in ages. He couldn?t wait to take it again. I ignored him, what would I say anyway? ?Great for you, wish I could say the same?? No, I decided to stick with my plan. He couldn?t know a thing and I?d give him a few weeks of this stuff to see what would really happen.

I met him at the gym the next afternoon and mixed the supplements into water bottles in the car. I took the label off mine, hoping that would be a deterrent to him grabbing the right wrong one this time. On a whim, I decided to give him just a little extra. I couldn?t see how it would hurt him, half a scoop sounded so small an amount. Erik met me in the locker room and wasted no time telling me how great he was feeling. ?Dude, I felt amazing last time and even yesterday. You wouldn?t believe the extra energy I had! I could have worked out yesterday too, but I just did some crunches and push ups at home. If it continues like this we may have to bump up to 5 days a week!? I could see the bewildered excitement in his eyes as he spoke. He continued, ?I?m not even sore from the other day, its like I?ve fully recovered. And look..? With that he pulled up his shirt and revealed a surprisingly trimmer torso than I remembered. His pecs seemed to have held close their previously pumped up size and I saw faint traces of abs as he flexed them. I had a slight moment of panic, maybe this wasn?t such a good idea, but it was already started and he was now chugging away at his water bottle.

We did the same 30 minutes of cardio as before and proceeded with an arms and back workout. Just as the previous session had gone, we experienced more energy than usual. I noticed a tingling sensation when the supplement kicked in. Erik described it more like the feeling of his blood being forced through his body at a higher volume. He said he could feel his muscles almost throbbing as he worked out. While I was having a great workout and felt really pumped, my eyes and thoughts were on Erik?s. It seemed every lift he did was just a little too light now. 25 pound dumbbell curls became 30 pounds and suddenly pull-ups on the machine that assisted with a little counterweight were too easy. He had worn one of those tank tops with the huge hole cut down the sides that day, something that I just felt I couldn?t pull off. One because of my ruddy pale skin tone and also because I just didn?t like the way I looked in them. I really wanted that coveted side pec definition before I would attempt it.

Not only was he doing it, he was starting to look good in it. The pull-ups and row exercises had pumped his back up a bit. In fact when he did pull-ups, I could see the beginnings of wing-like lats forming. There was no mistaking it. And the arm exercises created a noticeable swelling in his biceps and triceps. Just in bending his arm to drink some water, a small but very obvious ball of muscle formed. He caught me looking at one point and smiled, knowing just how turned on I was getting watching him buff out before my very eyes. I blushed slightly and looked away. We hadn?t discussed the events in the steam room yet and I wasn?t entirely sure how to look at it. Had it just been a fleeting moment of intense sexual gratification, or was it indicative of something bigger forming? His smile turned into a cocky smirk and I knew, at the very least, I was in for some fun later.

We finished our routine and headed to the lockers. He made a stop at the scale to check his weight. ?I gained almost 4 pounds since last week!? he exclaimed. ?Wow,? I said, a bit surprised. I was sure I hadn?t gained anything, actually, and the scale confirmed it. Clearly, this experimental supplement was working and I was really curious to see how things would progress from here. We moved on to the locker room. While he was busy nearly feeling himself up examining every little bulge, I was lost in thought about the turn of events. ?So about last time,? I blurted out. Erik stopped and simply said, ?I think we should go discuss that at my place. Ok?? I was a bit surprised at his tone, it wasn?t so much a request as it was a demand. He was definitely exhibiting an aggressive alpha personality, something that despite my usual role as such, turned me on slightly.

We changed clothes quickly and headed to his place. Erik offered me a protein shake and he said he was doubling up on his. ?My appetite was through the roof these past two days. No wonder I?ve gained weight,? he said. ?I was cramping up a little during our workout. What about you?? I answered that I hadn?t. I sat at his kitchen table and drank my shake. He continued, ?So, the steam room was fun, huh? I could do that everyday!? He said between gulps, breathing heavily as he caught his breath between long swallows of his monster shake. You?d have thought it was the last meal he would be eating for days.

?Mmmmnnn,? I heard him moan. ?Its that good?? I laughed. But when he lowered his glass, I realized he wasn?t moaning in pleasure. He was gritting his teeth and had tensed up in pain. I shot out of my chair and went to check on him. I asked if he was ok, but the only response he could give was a grunt and shake of his head. ?I?m going to call an ambulance, something is not right here.? I went for the phone, but I heard him force an intense, gruff ?NO? through his clenched teeth. His muscles had tensed up all over his body and were trembling slightly. He had managed to hunch over, holding on to the counter where he?d put his glass of protein shake. I noticed his muscles twitching violently, as if he were flexing them each individually. Each contraction seemed to cause it to swell more than it had before. I was mesmerized and scared simultaneously. If anything serious happened to him, I?d never forgive myself.

Finally, everything stopped and he was left panting heavily as he supported himself on the kitchen counter. I put my hand on his back to let him know I was still there. ?That was fucking intense!? he said breathlessly. ?Maybe we need to give this pre-workout supplement a break,? I suggested. He responded quickly, ?Are you kidding? I feel amazing right now, like I just had complete body workout in a few seconds! I want more of that stuff tomorrow. In fact, you should just give me the container so I can drink it before getting to the gym tomorrow.? I paused, unsure of what to say. ?I left it at home,? I lied. ?I?ll bring it to you tomorrow though.?

?That works,? he said. ?So like I was saying, I think we have something special going on here. Clearly, we?re attracted to each other, right?? He finally let go of the counter and turned towards me. Erik straightened up and I gasped. ?How tall are you?? I asked, already knowing the answer was 5?10?. But I wasn?t looking over his head anymore, I was staring at the top of his forehead. I looked down at his socked feet. Shit, he had kicked off his shoes at the door and I still had mine on, which meant he?d grown well over an inch! ?Why? I?ve been 5?10? since high school,? he asked, puzzled at my questioning.

I told him to find a tape measure and stand against the kitchen door frame so I could mark his height. He handed me a pencil and I drew a line at the top of his head. He held the end of the tape to the floor and I apprehensively ran it up to 6? and confirmed it. 6? even, if not just a hair over. For comparison I drew a mark at the 5?10? mark. ?You need to see this, Erik. You just grew 2 inches!? I was astonished to say the least. ?That?s impossible!? he said. ?But who am I to complain? I?ve always wished I were taller. This is incredible! I wonder what else grew,? he added with a grin and pulled off his shirt. There was no denying it now, everything had grown and in the process more fat had melted away. My jaw went slack at the sight. He had pecs now, rounded and obvious. Even the valley between them had become more exaggerated. An 8 pack of abs pushed out in plain sight and his arms bulged perfectly. They hung at a slight angle due to the expansion of his back and his shoulders appeared broader.

I looked on in lust, as he flexed and posed before me. He spent a moment examining himself, and I was once again hard as a rock and ready to explore his new body with my tongue.

So far the effects of the experimental supplement appear to be exactly what I would want to do to myself... Leaner, taller, more muscular, and more assertive and excited to workout... I really want a supply of the stuff...

But it seems likely there will be a down side to it, there always is. Although right now it looks like the only down side is that Erik is about replace the narrator as the dominant partner in their relationship... I really have got to get some of that stuff for myself.

Ender

Does the narrator have a name... having to call him narrator, protagonist or as I have dubbed the unnamed protagonist of many of Jaypat's stories... The Kid with No Name (note) is a pain...

Note: In reference to the unnamed drifter portrayed by Clint Eastwood in Sergio Leone's Dollars Trilogy.

Lol Ender I got thru the first chapter and realized I hadn't concocted a way to introduce the narrator properly... Now I'm kind of stuck! I guess I'll have to do it organically somehow soon.

Hugest I suppose it could be longer tan I expected... I didn't start it as such, but these things take on a life of their own sometimes! Though I'm certainly not a fan of endless plot lines

For what it's worth... There is nothing wrong with having a name-less protagonist ... when you're writing it's really cool, it lets the reader really think of himself in that roll.

I have noticed that in a lot of the movie versions of H.G. Wells or H.P. Lovecraft written in nameless first person they dub him with only a first name of George, Herbert, Howard or Phillip. Leave him un-named if you want, and if you're okay with it I can reference him as Jason

Thanks for clarifying ... I'll admit I frequently replace characters' names with my own when I read!
