I know, now I'm starting to worry he ain't gonna say anything ever again at this rate. I hope it's not something we did or said. Like overloading him with requests...or something...

Only Phoenix knows, but we don't know if he'll ever tell us.

Actually, those are the lyrics of a song Desi Arnez used to sing on "I Love Lucy."

Which one? I've got three of em, even though I mostly "advertise" TheTrueMGGroup, which obviously is in my sig.

I'm gonna assume it's that one.

Also, we really need to post something, Phoenix (who I'm totally worried 'bout now) or no, we need somethin new! Unfortunately, you're all immune! (Except Phoenix, but I can't 'whip' him if he ain't really here.)

So.....will someone do something?!?......Pretty please with MG syrup on top?

Well, to be honest, it probably goes in the "New Celeb Muscle" thread, or your own thread, or even both if you so chose.

That's beside the point, because great googly moogly! He!... Is!...

H!
O!
T!

HOT!

Ooowee! If there was some more room on each side of the picture, Zac-y here would be perfect for morphin!

JiggyBorg!

Hi again Jiggyborg and thanks for the nice words!

TheMM

well, I heard the plea for more stuff and frankly, I get worried when there's no movement in the thread espeiclaly one I like. So I thought I'd try and get it moving - but I know I'm not consistent myself, so I thought to try and do someting that isn't so hard or time consuming ..

tada !

I'm not a big Zac Efron fan to be honest. DOn't think much of him, but I know lots of people do, so I chose him as a subject to get more people interested in the thread again!

OH! If you want, I can link up the larger picture of zac - i mean the one with LOTSA od white space above and on his sides, I had to crop it down to this one coz I left too much white space in the background of the original ...
yes?

CHocomus

Thank you!
I have trouble spending more than 1 - 2 hours on the computer on a piece of art or drawing. Gives me headaches.
Since I spend all my work day staring at a computer - then coming home to go into my personal computer for emails, then artwork.

So I have trouble doing long pieces of art sometimes.

So quick ones like these will just have to do .... for now

I'm sure we'd be glad to get it in any quality.

Whether you can scan it in parts and pieces or simply take a photo (scan) or load in a digital photo of your (let's see) amazing art!

6 ft x 2 (3) ft.

I'd suggest using or borrowing a digital camera and uploading the images if you would like to share them online with your friends or us

I'd like to update you all...

...on my doings.

Which isn't much I might add.

I think my laptop might be down for the count. What I really hate is that I would have to take it to some guy I don't know and have it fixed (if that's possible). But what I REALLY hate, is that if it can't be fixed (or if it's too much to fix) that I won't be able to save all of the stories, pictures, and vids (all MG of course) that I've saved over the years.

Needless to say, I'm not on my lappy right now; or happy for that matter.

If the computer cannot be repaired, the hard drive should be able to be removed. If this is in good condition it can be read through another computer, and if it has failed it can be sent to companies that extract the data from bad drives.

True, my hard disk from my last computer is the second hard drive from my actual computer. With all the info saved.

Ok, my laptop is shot. I didn't take it to anyone, but I just know it's gone. Should I still remove the hard drive from it? Just so you know, I'm planning on getting an actual computer instead now. If possible, I want to save the info on it, I've also got many various college things on it as well, which are very important as well.

A whatily what-what? I don't know any techno-babble, so put it in simpler terms if you'd be willing.

As I mentioned above, could I put a laptop hard drive in an actual computer?

I know I'm terribly off topic, but on my lappy is not just pictures and vids of MG. I've got literally dozens of story ideas I've gotten over the years. Some of which I don't think I could ever remember (hence the reason why I wrote them down in my lappy).

The laptop hard drives are just a 2.5 inch drive instead of a 3.5 inch drive, but their are adapters.

So you mean there's hope for all of "my precious" files?...gollum, gollum!

I need to know exactly what to look for. I understand it's an adaptor, but tell me the details of it. Or just anything about em really.

an EZ Swap bay is a bay you put into PCs which uses a special cartridge type device with which you put your lappy hard drive in and can be used with other EZ Swap bays or using the USB ports on the back of the cartridge.

It will depend on the type of drive for what connector you can use, but I strongly recomend that after you get your data off of the laptop drive, you copy it to a new hard drive or external hard drive as laptop drives have a tendency to fail.

Also, in the future, backup your hard drive to a second copy on either a external hard disc or optical disk copies. These failures are not uncommon.

I cannot remember where you can get one, but it is possible to get a special usb cable that will let you temporarily connect to your drive so you can just plug it into another computer. This may be the cheapest option. You will need to know what kind of hard drive you have. It may be eide/ata or it might be sata. These require different connections. If you don't know anything about this, you may need to take it to a shop where someone will be able to select the apropriate cable. Also, most shops should be able to do this and simply put all of the data on another drive or dvd's for you.

Hopefully this is of some help.

Alrighty then. Thanks for that info you two, it definately helps. I'll hopefully have an update by tomorrow.

When this works out (I have faith it will ) I'm gonna have to seriously reward you two for this.

I'm getting back my inspiriation (though it might only be temporary) so I'm having to write down my ideas.....on paper....*shudders*

Vista is actually a quite fantastic product. Stop jumping on the bandwagon of hating the product simply because it is popular to do so. I have been running vista since RC1 and it has caused me no problems. In addition I am running it with heavy autocad software and every possible adobe program. I just recommend taking the time to customize windows to your liking. Luckily you can manipulate just about any option in windows but the only one worth doing so in the system is turning off User Acount Access Control prompts. Those are rediculous.

The reason people say it is so unstable is only because corporations always wait as long as possible to install a new client operating system because they are not yet used to something they are going to apply on such scale.
