Best cities for an aspiring muscle worshiper (or just getting big)? Hey there, all. I'm a jock guy with graduation around the corner, so I'm sitting back and thinking about where I want to live after college. I might also have the opportunity to travel this summer with my graduation funds. Anyway, as an aspiring worshiper/servant to muscular men, I'm wondering what some of the best cities are for muscle guys. I also bodybuild, so tips on some of the best cities for bodybuilding might be good too. This would, of course, only be one part of the equation in choosing where to actually live — but since I might be traveling this summer, just knowing where I might be most of service would also be extremely helpful. Love traveling internationally too, so suggestions are welcome from all countries. |

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! -Now, get a job! Seriously, where you end up in the first years after you graduate has a lot to do with the opportunities you get. When I went to school, I just stayed on in the same area after graduation. I got jobs and my career developed (just like my body has! ) I suppose if you were to do some research for cities where you're most likely to find muscular people, you could look up those articles on Yahoo! about "America's fittest cities" which take into account things like the number of gyms, the percentage of overweight people in a given geographic area, the number of people who run, hike, bike and workout in general. Also, the weather outside can impact this. Places to keep in mind would be where the weather is decent or at least temperate, with job opportunities. For example, on the West Coast, San Diego, California and Redmond, Washington, come to mind. On the East Coast, I think Washington, DC, believe it or not, for the terrific career opportunities, as well as New York City and maybe Atlanta. People with more disposable income also spend more time and money exercising and keeping fit. As far as the muscle worship aspect goes, I think that's probably such a discrete subset of gay life that you'll have to approach that in a roundabout way, like you're doing here: ask people and follow up with what they tell you. I don't have any tips beyond keeping your eyes and ears open for opportunities. But isn't that what life's all about, anyway? Good luck and congratulations again, Mdlftr |
