I am doing something Ive never done before which is to go on a vacation by myself. I'm coming to LA from 8/15 to 8/20. Yes I am into muscle. I am 6' and about 203 or so. Not looking for a date just to meet some new peeps in so Cal. Ive never been to Calif before so excited about coming. Hope to meet some folks with similar interest.

You will probably want to check out the outdoor weightlifting pit in Venice, aka Muscle Beach. But just be prepared: you're not going to see a bunch of huge pros pumping up there. If you're lucky, you'll see a few good physiques working out. Any fan of bodybuilding or muscle needs to visit there at least once just to say you've been there.

I will guarantee that you'll see some pretty decent muscle walking up and down the boardwalk area though. So take off your shirt and strut along with them. Enjoy!

Agreed, that's the one real public muscle experience in LA. Oddly enough, when I moved to LA, I stayed at the hostel 100 yards away from it... Completely coincidental!

Whatelse you want to see in LA?

Good advice from arpeejay.

The Gold's Gym property was purchased by Google and the gym will be closing next year when its lease is up. So by all means, swing by there while you still can!

Is this the original Gold'S?

I notice that the franchisee in my area dumped their Gold's connection and went with another company. I wonder if Gold's as a company is in trouble?
