More meals Eating only 3 meals a day is a good way to have higher bodyfat, a lower metabolism and less muscle growth. Ideally 6 meals---that is fully balanced meals not snacks--a day keeps the metabolism in a state where muscle growth happens and fat accumulation is minimized. 8 meals a day is a good goal for growth but it may be difficult for most people's schedule to accomplish this. |

6 meals it's hard for me to do, let alone 8 meals. I personally do what I can each day. I think I have a slower metabolism so meal frequency is a tough road to travel. I think I am good as long as I have my proper caloric intake by the end of the day. I usually end up doing 4 or 5 meals. |

The number of meals differ from person to person and I'm not sure having 6 meals would be an ideal thing to do. |
