Most of you probably say the first X-Men live-action movie. In it there's a scene where Rogue (Anna Paquin) has her first kiss, a tragic moment where she nearly kills her boyfriend because she drains the life out of anyone she touches, whether he wants to or not.

I can't find a clip of that scene but I can show you what the boy who played her boyfriend looks like now:

The actor is Shawn Roberts. He also plays Albert Wesker in the Resident Evil movies but he mostly does smaller roles and hasn't truly broken out yet.

But this isn't about him. It's about his body. Imagine this is the true after effect of being touched by Rogue. Yes, she might kill you, but surviving her touch is far more of a blessing than a curse.

Interesting idea... maybe a Rogue-like character has the power you described, but since Rogue's powers work by draining the life, powers, memories, personality, skills, etc... what is happening in your story is that losing all of those things prompts the body and mind to replace them... so the drained victim wakes up, acts completely different, starts going to the gym with a passion, and becomes a new muscular person entirely. Nature abhors a vacuum after all, and working out might support the victim's damaged system, so it goes into overdrive.

Come to think of it, in the comics, Polaris (the daughter of Magneto) lost her powers once and her body reacted by pumping her muscles up, increasing her strength to superhuman levels and even making her taller, so there might be more evidence than we'd suspected in support of your theory

How about either A) a OC mutant with an absorbing power like rogues (they have the absorbing man too right?) but he absorbs muscle, problem is its temporary, (perhaps he burns through it?) so needs to reabsorb? ... or instead of X-Men a different setting for superheroes... where a muscle absorbing character is the main?

Forge, that just takes us to the usual muscle theft territory. However, it would be cool to see a muscle thief who doesn't realize that what he steals is returned to his victims exponentially. He might build an army of muscle men dedicated to "repaying" him for their new bodies.
