Thoughts on Singlets

Has anyone ever lifted in wrestling singlets, or even wore one around the house for whatever reason? I'm toying with the idea of adding it to a story, and I want to make it as realistic as possible.

I have indeed worn a singlet. It is the attire required by the rules to powerlift, so that the judges can see your body to determine if you have performed the lift properly.

Not really a very comfortable thing to wear, getting into it is like putting 10 lbs of baloney in a 2 pound sack. At meets I normally keep my straps down, like a lot of the big guys you see in pictures.

And yes, they do show off your package.

It amazes me that wrestlers are allowed to wear them at meets without any real protection down there because it shows everything.

Singlets are incredibly sexy and a gay man's dream frankly because they show all the goods and are legal to wear. And wearing them with the straps down is tantalizing because you wonder if it will 'accidentally' go a little too far down.

VR i'd say go for it if you are going to put a singlet in a story.

Singlets are very, very hot. I have a few and my husband occasionally insists I wear one around the house so he has something nice to look at.

I wrestled in H.S. and College and most wrestlers wear a cup if they have an ounce of sanity. The singlets do not fit well if you have big legs or overdeveloped glutes.

No one is going to lift ina wrestling singlet as they are not designed to be comfortable for that activity. I have worn wrestling singlets to parties and for play matches (i.e. nothing serious like real wrestlers do). Back in the 1980's though, before str8 guys got all self conscious everyone wore half a singlet in the form on spandex shorts. I used to see them all over Orlando and it made body and crotch watching a delight.

Yup,

Mine hangs on it's hanger in the closet until the actual meet. I wear it long enough to get through my 9 attempts, and then I go change into something else as fast as possible!
