Mr University is the first and only UK university based fitness competition, a showcase of the most healthy, athletic and fit students that the UK has to offer, hoping to challenge the unhealthy, lazy stereotype that many have of students and whilst celebrating fitness and the drive to live a healthy lifestyle. A natural Bodybuilding or sporting lifestyle has many benefits to one?s health and wellbeing, and for students especially it can positively impact your state of mind, act as a stress reliever, enabling you to better focus on your degree and future.

We?re not just about the muscles! In the show we will be discovering the personalities behind the bodies, who they are, what they study and why they train. Our fitness celebrity judges will take a multi-faceted approach, with the contestants being compared on overall physique, personality, stage presence and aspirations. The public will also have a say about who they think has the Mr University factor with a online vote being held in the run up to the show a the event will be broadcast live online for all to see!

The show will run in two halves, the first half includes an introduction to Mr University and the judges, the show prizes, and then we will welcome the contestants on stage. In the second half all the competitors will be welcomed back onstage for the top 3 or 5 from each category to be announced who will then be interviewed. Using the competitors interview performance combined with their physique and stage presence scores we announce the 2014 Mr and Ms University winners!

The categories include:

Men?s Physique ? a bodybuilder/fitness model, a muscular & conditioned physique. Swim shorts above mid-thigh. Interview in sportswear, interview questions regarding training, lifestyle, ambitions.

Men?s Athletic ? a high calibre sportsman, an athletic, well-built physique. Swim shorts above the knee. Interview in sports kit, interview questions regarding their sport.
