Big hands

I find big and manly hands really cool. How long and wide do you think a hand needs to be to be considered big? Mine are about 8 inches long and, at the base of the fingers, 4 inches wide. Is that average or a little bit bigger?

You mean strong and thick fingers? Yeah, they're great. So, anyone else has something to say about manly hands and how long and wide they need to be to be considered big?

I would say your hands are a bit above average. I do agree huge hands are great, but I have no idea what a measurement would be for them either.

exactly! check out arm wrestler Denis Cyplenkov (there are several threads that link to videos and pics of him) for the ultimate thick fingers.
oh almost forgot, forearms almost as thick as huge bis do it for me too!

my hands are about 10" long from the bottom of my palm to the tip of my middle finger and its about 5 3/4" wide

Today, in the bus, I encountered a guy who was a little taller than me (I'm a little taller than 5feet 11 inches), but who had huge hands. He had a mp3 player in his hands, but they were so big it looked like a lego block! They had to be at least 9-9.5 inches long, and were really wide. It was quite a beautiful sight.

Big hands, big feet, big muscles - that's the package I want. I'm 6'2" but have very small hands - 7.5" long. There's nothing that does it for me more than comparing my small hands to huge ones and having the tips of his fingers wrap over top of mine.

Big everything is great, as long as it's in some kind of proportion. Huge hands and feet complete a great package, but often times some of those "over-sized" guys have really awkward shapes or their fingers are bent at odd angles or something goofy like that. Otherwise, it's awesome!

Hi! Today, I met one of my brother's friends, and I have to say he had the biggest hands I have ever seen. He is about 6 foot 4, which is quite tall, but his hands have to be about 12 inches long, if not longer. Not only are they long, they are pretty large too. I was really impressed, and it made my day. So, anybody else here has something to say about big and meaty hands?
