Yes, this is Lee Priest's body. I like the pics in black and white of Lee Priest, and this in particular, recalls the original pic of Walker who was also in black and white.

Well, if you want to create morphs I advise you install a good editor of images (I use PS CS3) and search the Internet tuturials that explain the workings of the software tools. There are tutorials that teach step-by-step how to replace the body and head in pictures. I wish I could help you more, but I have difficulties with English and both my PhotoShop as my tutorials are all in Portuguese.

If you have any suggestion to morph or some commentary, feel the desire to post. I will be very happy if I can help!

You don't have to have the best of tools but good tools help.

Most of what people call "morphing" now days is cut & paste & stretch & trim. It can be done with paper and scissors but it's more flexible with a good 2D editing tool. What is almost essential is:

1) an editing application that handles multiple layers as if the image were on a stack of transparent sheets of glass

2) the application should have a smart selection tool that lets you outline a figure buy clinging to natural outlines in an image you don't have to be so damn accurate. After getting a bodypart outlined with the smart selection tool you copy that part of the image to another layer in the image.

3) the application should have a tool to stretch an area of pixels

4) the application should have a tool to expand or bloat an area of pixels

5) the application should have a full range of color & image attributes modifiers like hue & saturation, contrast & brightness, transparency, etc.

Then it's all practice. Think cut & paste but do it with style and finesse.

I started out with Microsofts pitiful little image editor "Paint" and got results I liked. Then I got more picky. You can get a decent editor for about $50 or a better one for $100 or a great one for $600 or even a great one for free!

A full version of Photoshop (7 or CS or CS1 or CS2, or CS3 or now CS4) is very nice, but you're looking at the $600 tool.

Photoshop Elements does much of what full Photoshop does and is only about $100

And for free you can get GIMP which is a freeware pseudo-clone of Photoshop. It does at least as much as Photoshop Elements and much of what full Photoshop does. Interfaces are similar but different enough to be legal.

These tools all have a significant learning curve. It takes reading, and experimenting, if you can't do both then why are you here?

There are other applications that have various subsets of the tools available in the Photoshop & GIMP tools and they might be easier to use.

Actually to do morphing you don't need a very powerful application at all but it really should have layering and a smart selection tool as I said above. Learn what each of the tools do. Experiment. Cut, paste, enlarge, trim fade edges, change colors, match contrast & brightness, sketch in or color over bloops. Experiment.

You'll find that a major part of how good a "morph" turns out is the image you start with. You can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear. You can enhance but you can't work magic unless you want to paint on muscle definition and then unless you're a terrific artist, it looks like a paint job.

I'll never forget seeing The Wrath of Khan for the first time and (I'm like 13 at the time) tWoK is for many reasons an EPIC flick, but for these purposes here... ) when they're on Ceti Alpha V and Kahn is going on how he's going to wreak his vengance, he passes out the brain worms to put into Chekhov's and Captain Terrel's helmets, and one of the guys in the back ground who is holding one of them, take the worm and rollls it around in the helmet before they put it on Chekhov's head. Khan is talking, but this guy with the helmet has BIG ARMS and they ripple when he moves the helment around as he's listening to Khan, and I didn't really hear what Khan was saying, those arms were so BIG they just took my attention way.

The Wrath of Khan is my favorite Star Trek movie (well. .. I think is the favorite of almost all). In this scene, I can say is that the Space Seeds were well nourished!
