that someone asked quite a while ago how much muscle movie posters were sold for. Well the following prices are accurate as of July 7th 2009:

HERCULES UNCHAINED starring Steve Reeves (1960) ?150 (about $240)
SAMSON AND THE 7 MIRACLES starring Gordon Scott (1961) ?40 (about $65)

I collect movie posters and these prices are pretty much the going rate on ebay, though I did pick up an original French 3 sheet for "Hercules" with Steve Reeves for $100 US.

Only thing about the poster is that the French have a different system for noting the size. Here in the US, a standard movie poster is a one-sheet, a three sheet is about the size of a door, and a 24 sheet is billboard size.

In France, a three-sheet is billboard size. I didn't know that when I ordered the poster.

So, I've got an original 1960 billboard poster for Steve Reeves in "Hercules" with no wall big enough to display it....

If you're interested in Peplum and muscle-themed films, you can pick up many originals for $20 or $30. Some of the European ones can be quite imaginative and have paintings on them that bear no relationship to the film or actors, but are quite hot anyway.
