WalMart Whey?

I was at the Walmart across from work last week and they have a couple different off brand forms of whey and protein, some of which also had creatine. IIRC the one with 52g of protein as being listed for $13.98 or something along those lines. Would these even be worth looking at?

Compare the nutrition stats on the package with a brand that you respect if they are the same its worth getting. Often off brands are cheaper because they do not spend money on marketing and they are often produced by the big name brand companies. Stay away from aspartame and other fake sweeteners its basically poison.

I ended up not buying, money's been tight this summer, last 3 weeks in particular, and I was hoping I could get that instead of the EAS premix I've been getting at the local Sam's Club for about $26 on a 12ct case wiht it being 1/2 the price. Thanks for the advice again guys.

Hey guys, I've looked at the WalMart protein too. I know its not great, but I think the real question for WhoDunIt is....is using the WalMart protein for a while when money is tight better than nothing? We've all been there, that's for sure!

That's kinda what I figured Drew, seemed like it would be a waste of money if I wasn't getting much out of the stuff before it hit the toilet.

Money's Tight

Drew is right. Plus, I once long ago tried the Walmart crap...it tastes as much as it costs. Its disgusting. I would say look online and see if you can find something in your ball park, I find that online it's much cheaper than any store here in town. Personally I love muscle milk, great taste and great quality.
