Actually, he's always had great shoulders and if you look at the "before" pic you'll notice that he's standing in such a way that you don't see his width.

But, yeah, the arms and pecs are definitely improving.

I understand the comment about angle, but I can tell you without a doubt the man is packing it on. And, well he's always been sexy, but now he is smokin hot... sweet lord you could park an aircraft carrier on those shoulders.

Definitely growing! Look at the fullness in his arms and the veins running up them. Plus those shoulders are wide as heck! Ben is hitting the weights and it is showing...and very well for a guy 6'3

wow. i am pleasantly surprised. i've never really found ben affleck attractive before: conventionally good looking, but skinny and generally not my type. but these new pix show an all new ben. i like big ben! not sure why he's doing it, but i hope he keeps it up. muscles suit him nicely. he's about at the limit of size for actors, but if he got even bigger that would be sweet.

He has ALWAYS had a good shoulder to waist ratio, even when he didn't have a muscle on his body. It's nice to see him working 'em, although you'll note we haven't seen any pix of his legs, so I'm guessing he's in the Chelsea / WeHo gym queen mode.

I have always thought Ben was one of the most handsome actors in Hollywood, with his chiseled facial structure and his full, soft-looking lips and beautiful head of hair. But now, pile bulging biceps and hulking shoulders on top of it, and WOW! He is practically a fantasy come to life. I know it might take some doing, but can anyone on here come up with some recent shirtless pics of Ben, that show off what he's obviously worked hard to build. Those arms and delts look like they were carved out of granite.
