There was a movie last night on syfy call "The Final" where bullied students get revenge on their tormentors .

As someone who was bullied in school I have to say that this looks completely disgusting. If I were a Syfy viewer I would boycott the network. I'm considering boycotting NBC now.

@Yachirobi Disgusting, yes. But it just goes to show that people that bully never know what they got coming to them if they push too far. Add a dash of Hollywood extremism and you got a decent Halloween movie, eh?

in the wake of Columbine and other school massacres, I don't think kids need more ideas to act on IN REAL LIFE, whether they are bullied or not.

Yes, it's a just a movie. But if it in the end comes across as suggesting that the actions shown of in some way acceptable it send a bad message.

Movies don't all need "happy, the good guys win" endings but when people cheer for the "bad guy to win" and believe that a good thing there is something wrong.

There are way too many sickos in the world and they don't need examples to copy.

well, bulling is torturing others to the point people can end commiting suicide only in order to feel better about oneself due to others feeeling worse. Maybe kids will take this movie seriously and they will stop (nah, they won't. Damn!). Sometimes fear is the only way, which is sad... (or being a good parent/educator)

Ummm, yeah it's the typical oh-my-gawd-let's-do-another-iteration-of-SAW thriller.

Undoubtedly it will inspire some idiotic self pitying teen to pluck out another semi or maybe full automatic weapon and start blasting away at his or her peers...but let's not get into that.

Personally I would love to mind fuck that jock into my own depraved piggy love slave with a penchant for pink tights, no underwear, a pc stain on the crotch and the corner of our towns main street. That would be the ultimate revenge.

And you get to liberate his spirit as a plus.

See... some acts of vengeance can also be acts of almost Christian charity.
