some of my progress: three years, 100+lbs

hi Guys:

first time Poster, long time Lurker

i've been experimenting with getting big a lot over the past few years, and thought i'd finally share some of my progress with you boys who love muscle growth as much as i do

this pic is a bit oldish at this point, but it's one of my best "Before and After" montages. i'm currently down to 265, but i'm doing a bulking cycle this summer and should be noticeably more muscular in the coming months. i may use this as a good forum to document my growth.

anyway, i hope you guys appreciate my offering to the Growth Gods...

i'm 30 years old. current stats are 6', 262lbs. no, i only meant for one comparison pic to be up.

how'd i do it? 10 years of a high-protein diet and lifting 4x a week. i'm completely natural, although that may change over the summer heh.

hmm, i see what that other guy meant about the pic not being visible. it took like 5 minutes for the pic to load for me when i logged into the thread this morning. is there any trick to posting photos in these threads? please advise, i'm rather new to this ^_^

this was back when i was ~150lbs in 2004. note the total lack of beef anywhere on my body :P

That honest statement on how you put on 100+ pounds is the best thing about this thread! A-MEN, brother!!!

Say it loud: Getting big requires HARD work and committment to working out, eating and resting to grow!

Best of all, you demonstrate that it clearly works!! Maybe not at fantasy-style warp speed, but soon enough!

hey Anpuza, sorry i missed your comment. how did i get this big? 12 years of eating and lifting dude. i was 18 when i first started and now i am 30. i am a tall dude also (6'0") and as we all know, Tall Dudes gain muscle very very slowly unless you are one of the few genetically gifted bros out there.

i hope my progress thread is an inspiration to all the Scrawny Bros out there who want to get big and beefy and muscled. if you can dream it, you can achieve it! i know that is a big cliche/platitude, but it is also very true. my "before" black & white pics should be solid proof that my genetics SUCK and i started off as a 98-pound weakling.

"Cute" is generally used to describe something small, pretty, and attractive.

I'd use "adorable" if I was going for an equivalent that didn't mean "small".

Though if I were to compliment the guy, I'd say "smoking hot and amazingly built."

Girls tend to use the word "cute" a lot, so maybe gay men do the same? I dunno.

I use cute a lot but when girls use it, it's the non-flirtatious way of calling a guy "sexy" or "hot". Guys with muscles are usually sexy or hot, but using those terms = flirting in the girl world. Guys seem to think that cute = adorably, small, and so on; but that's just their insecurities getting the best of them. I use adorable a lot, but of course, that's basically just a synonym for cute.

Cute actually means: good looking guy with cute features, which usually pertains to his face, personality, smile, and so on. It never pertains to the body. If "cute" is used to describe the male genitalia, then yeah, that's obviously not good.

sorry for the partial nudity in this 2nd pic, but i am sorta proud at how big my ass has grown totally without doing squats or deads (my lower back is fucked up so i can't do freestanding squats or deadlifts - i occasionally do hack squats but that's it).



lastly, apologies for these huge photos... i tried a zillion times to resize them (hence why i am finally posting at 2am eastern time) but every time they kept reverting back to their original huge size i hope that you guys are able to view these pics.

if anyone can resize and repost them, be my guest...
