I am the same burlemarx. You have to either try different diets/cuts or accept your beefiness and grow your muscles to their fullest potential. You would be surprised how many men love this look. Frankly, I find it way more appealing because you look more masculine and there is a lot more to love on a man. The aesthetics are nice, but to maintain that look requires a LOT of work and a lot of time. The beefy/thick look requires less maintenance, but the muscles look fuller and more massive. |

Doesn't nitric oxide (NO), or NO-based supplements (like N. O. Xplode from BSN, to name one), aid in developing thicker veins? The last time I read about that (I don't recall if it was on an ad from BSN or just an article), they mentioned that the pre-workout supplements that contained NO tend to help expand the arteries/veins which helped deliver more blood, more oxygen, etc. to create a "rawr" quality pump.... I don't know I haven't tried it, curious about it and thought it would fit this thread's subject. |

Lol. Supplement advertising is interesting/funny. Nitric oxide (NO) is a signaling molecule that activates various pathways that leads to the formation of cGMP, which causes vasodilation. The action is only temporary. It allows for increased blood flow, and that's how nitroglycerin helps with angina. Arteriogenesis and angiogenesis, however, is not promoted by the presence of NO. |

been a while since i posted any updates. sorry that i dont have a dramatic transformation to reveal. but, my quad development is coming along really nicely so i wanted to share it with you guys this is as of June 14, 2012. i posted this on my facebook earlier today, and a couple people asked me if i was wearing football pads or somesuch. i am proud to say that i am wearing UnderArmor spandex tights, and nothing else that's all me! enjoy! |

Those are an impressive set of quads. I do recommend though to build up the calves so the legs look a little more balanced. i know my calves need a lot of work. so does my chest and outer delts. i have a lot of trouble doing Calf Work because the bones in my feet are fucked up, so seated calfs, donkey calfs, pretty much any calf exercises causes me a lot of pain. and also, my calves are genetically predisposed to be tiny. all the men in my family have the same tiny, skinny calves. |

and no: there was no morphing whatsoever in this photo. i have never morphed any of my photos, ever, except for some fantasy roleplaying chats years ago on yahoo messenger. posting morphed pics of yourself is like posting pics of your brown eyes while wearing blue contact lenses. you may look beautiful, but so what? you are not representing yourself truthfully. it's gonna bite you in the ass, in the end. |

ok first off not trying to be a jerk or anything. but just a few observations. usually on a 15lb gain one can expect a 1 inch growth onve the body. in your pictures you gained over 100lbs which would ten to put your stats biiger than what you poasted . So that leads me to come to the following conclusions your current body fat based on your pictures is a bit high. while gaining mass you have buitt some extra unwanted mass training while good seems to have certain areas of weakness that need to be adjusted. so conclusion or if i was having you as a client ( am a nutritionlist and competive bodybuilder ) i would suggest the following a cutting program to bring your body fat number down to the 9-12% range. this would allow you to see what actual muscle mas you have gained. two it would also allow you to see the areas that really need improvement and allow you to adjust your training to bring those areas up to the level of your better body parts third it would them also refocus you on doing abetter quality bulk keeping it cleaner and allowing for better gains without the need for long cutting programs. hope this helps and as i said not trying to be a jerk or a hater but simply looking at it from a competitve bodybuider view and from a nutritional view point as well. if you want any suggstion on how to do it drop me a note. |

yes i know my bodyfat is high. it is 15% right now. but last fall it was 27%, so i have already dropped a ton of bodyfat (about 35lbs). i dont know if you read my post up above, but i have been doing a very clean diet for the past 8 months, no dairy, no fried food, no carbs during my last 2 meals of the day, only 2 cheat meals per week and 1 of those is pretty clean, so really i'm only cheating 1 meal per week out of 49 meals (7 meals a day x 7 days/week). when i dropped my meals from 7 to 6, i experienced a sharp decline in my strength. all my lifts went down. when my lifts went down, all my muscle measurements (tape measurements) went down too. this led to me to conclude that my body wants/needs more meals per day to keep my lifts (and muscle mass) up. unfortunately i just started a new Bulking Program 4 weeks ago. it's a 12 week program total. but it is a clean bulk and my diet has remained the same... i have not increased my calories or anything... i am not doing "extra cheating"... so in theory, all my gains from this program should be solid. i agree that i need to do another cutting cycle. my ideal bodyfat would be 12%. i like being beefy and i have no desire to compete, so i never want to get totally ripped. also, my boyfriend likes playing with my sexy "Jock Belly" i am definitely interested in your advice so Private Message me here or let me know if you want to msg me on facebook! thanks again for the heads up. |

I could soooo worship you. Especially if you take the suggestion and bulk the calves up a little more. I'm with the comment big feet.... like your feet proportion and the rest of you. Only thing I don't like is the comment of a boyfriend. Damn, why is it anyone who turns my head is already with someone?!?
