Creatine (Any Form) vs Synovial Fluid HEADS UP -- Personal experience as well as advice from orthopedic doctor and sports practitioner... If you have secondary arthritis (from a sports injury earlier in life) or osteoarthritis (primarily genetics) -- DO NOT USE CREATINE. For some men, even with adequate hydration, Creatine actually causes a reduction in synovial fluid (this is the stuff that lubricates your joints). I'm currently being tested and monitored as I eliminate Creatine from my training supplements regimen. In the first week there was a significant reduction in joint pain after serious workouts, especially in joints known to have secondary or osteoarthritis. I will provide updates as this test continues. So far, results are positive. |

Good thing I've been avoiding Creatine then! |
