Thumbs up UK Muscle Cub - Slowly getting bigger...

Hey all

So, i've been lurking on here for years (literally, i just checked my join date and it was in 2006?!) and thought many times about creating a Watch Me Grow thread...

But for years, I spent time in the gym and didn't real get anywhere. I'd not realised that I had to nail diet, and gym and sleep if it was all going to go somewhere.

But over the last couple of years, having found a training parter for a while and finally got the hang of eating properly (and enough!) i've finally made a bit of progress...so thought i'd see what you guys think (and carry on posting some updates every now and again if people are interested.

I'm just gathering some pics to upload (and putting dates to them) so expect some more posts soon, with the details of the main stages of my progress since 2010...

But to start things off here's some stats:

October 2010:
186.8lbs / Waist 34.5in / Chest 39.5in / Bicep flexed 14.5in / Bodyfat around 21% (electric scale)

November 2012:
183.4lbs / Waist 33in / Bicep flexed 15.1in / Bodyfat 15.8% (calipers)

In between those two sets of stats, I lost a stone of fat, and took my bodyfat down to 12%...it's gone back up again at the moment as i've been bulking. I'm getting new stats done in the next few days, at which point i'll decide whether to continue bulking or try and shed some fat again.

Ok...so moving on a year to September 2012.

I got my diet nailed, lost 14lbs of fat and got my bodyfat down to 12.4%...

December 2012

Ok, so bringing us almost up to date, i've been trying to put on some size...so my bodyfat has gone up a little...but I think I can see some results...these were taken just before Christmas, a couple of weeks apart.

Thanks guys, just realised I never checked in on this thread, i read your posts but never posted my thanks...really appreciate all the replies.

Right now, i'm a little lighter having been leaning down for a holiday. Currently about 174lbs made some small gains as well as losing fat and i'm in touching distance of seeing my abs for the first time.

When i'm back from holiday i'm thinking about a serious bulk to put on some size over winter.

I misread this thread and thought it said UK Muscle club, and I was thinking, great! where is it! Great pics though so I'm still glad I clicked on it. Nice to see a bit of hairy muscle for a change.

Thanks! Really nice to receive any encouragement. A little update. Back from my holidays at 175lbs. Last week I started my bulk. Initially for three months, possibly six I'm going to checkpoint my progress at the halfway mark. Plan is to aim at 1.5-2lbs a week steady gain as lean as I can.

Started my new diet plan last week and one week on I'm nearly three pounds up and feels like I'm eating so much food!
