For fat burning and abs you need to do some exercises like cardio. Running is good exercise for fat burning. I think it is good to join a gym because gym is best place to do every kind of exercise.

Fat loss is 80% diet. Watch your calories, dude. The best plan is to figure out what your Basal Metabolic Rate is, adjust for your level of activity, then subtract 500 calories from that.

Here's an easy calculator to help you out: http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/

And obviously, I shouldn't need to tell you to eat clean! Stay away from sugary drinks and snack foods, and keep your intake of processed foods like hot dogs and burgers as low as you can.

Listen to ashland.

Abs is 90% diet. Anybody that tells you it's about exercise and cardio have never done it.

The two previous guys know exactly what they're talking about. Abs are made in the kitchen. Keep your protein high (1.2-1.5g per pound of bodyweight) but your carbs reasonably low (say 1 carb/lb of bodyweight). Take 1g of fat/5 lbs. That ratio works for me but everyone is different.

Also try and throw in some HIIT training to aid in fat loss but as they said, it's not much use unless you've nailed your diet.

Cut your carbs, build more muscle--do core exercises such as squats, deadlifts and bench press and avoid sugar. Try to eat an anti-inflammatory diet but by all means keep your carbs low.

I would do 3-4 times per week 1 h long cardio training (f.e. 20 min running+20min bike + 20 min ellipt. trainer): this is the weight loss- part. + 2-3 day per week body building training as the muscle building part. If you do it long enough (for months), you will see the result. And of course diet is essential. I like to use apps to help: calorie counter and gym log apps are so useful. Following your training progress gives you great info and motivation too.

I think that for this purpose you should follow a healthy diet plan and also try to do some exercise daily. You can do some Cardio or also try to do yoga. But with that you should avoid eating fast food and any other junk food.

Half of the responses are spam. How cute. -_-

What are good eating options for someone with a sweet tooth? I love sugar but my gut doesn't.

Fruit is an obvious choice. Honey can also be used for sweet stuff.

Try using a bit of honey to stick together some nuts (and related - sesame seeds, linseed, sunflower seeds, etc) into a bar form - it won't take much honey to satisfy your sweet tooth, and you get all those healthy nut fats and other benefits, too.
