I know, technically, we already have a number of these but shadowcock's Gay Virus from Stories Online has the equivalent of mind control and viral conversion with some transformations. The first story is very evocative with no less than four "just outside the view" of the reader's perspective ideas that could be stories all on their own. There are horrible cheesey double entendres that, sadly, work for me.

• Three security guards and their respective families and home lives, one with adult kids that are estranged, another seems single (uses the term my boys though on a night on the town sense), and third who is much older
• a long term business owner widower former jock is hooked up with someone by
• his father and bringing his twin sons with him to his retired coach dad's ranch to meet them
• The Main Character's two sons one baseball jock from camp another a NASA aiming science nerd, sadly the nerd never makes it to his science trip but that's what AUs and continuations are for!
• There are more points, changes at school, on the sports team and other school clubs and organizations, as sex amongst men becomes more and more common.

The original story is slightly more bisexual than gay. The changes generally mean more cock and better sexually accomodating asses with cute bubble butts though there is talk of shrinking clothes and growing and tighter bodies I wouldn't mind being gone into. It has, or figures, what to do with women. If you're not into ... the story uses the term dick-girls, this may be put you off and that doesn't happen to all of them. Generally it was inspiring to see this style of story (viral sexual explosion) with just more.. well assumption of male on male as to a family consisting entirely of women plus one patriarch that still matters and.. anyway
The idea is that I want to recommend the story though it doesn't have much explicit or defined muscle growth

Additionally the virus deviates and mutates to different strains with variety of effects depending on the subject. Some men end up more submissive and feminine, others boyish, others dominant, some sadists, some masochists, some more bisexual (prefering men but able to enjoy women in a certain way) the door is left open for all sorts of minor and quirky strains as dna is rewritten and defects and biology changed or corrected with the younger seeming to be the more extreme though elder changed in different ways. Even has, geekily, a spinoff devoted to the idea.
The best part, to me, is the start of normalcy as it shifts more and more to increduble sexual exploits
