Benefits of supplements Protein shakes, creatine, glutamine, etc many of these supplements can be valuable but only if you have a good diet to begin with. If you are not eating enough, protein shakes are not very valuable, if you are consuming too much simple sugars or junk food then your supplements are a waste of time and money. Creatine is best for those who are bulking and it works differently for different people, some people get water weight gain, most get minor strength gains and some people who already have large muscles get a full ballooned up look and incredible pumps. It takes lots of research to find the right supplements. Most supplements are low quality and usually are loaded with sweeteners that are not good for you. The value is that they can "supplement" your diet to help with gains. |
