| Post verification process questions? Hey guys! I've just got a few questions about the process for approving comments? I mean I totally understand that its to keep the spammers at bay, and totally necessary because of that, but like is that gonna be forever? and when are my posts going to be approved? I know the mods are busy folks too, but I've not been able to post comments in my thread for days and days, and it's a little disheartening to see people really enjoying my work and me not being able to thank them properly!     |

| Hi GiganticBeast, I'm so sorry about the troubles! New users posts are scanned by an anti-spam service called AKISMET and holds the posts for moderation if it meets their algorithm. Honestly, I don't know why your posts triggered it previously, since none of your prior posts were spammy in any way. The good news is that you are now past the moderation threshold since you have over 5 approved posts. Anything you post from this point forward will post immediately without being held for moderation. Unfortunately we did have Captcha and Question + Answer human verification questions set-up before. This worked for a while, but was ultimately defeated by ad bots as well leading to another huge influx of spam. But everything should be smooth for you from here on out. -Flexodus |

| Hey if it means that the forum isn't filled with nonsense and spam I'm ok with waiting a few days to post, I was just a bit worried when it got to a week, wondering if I forgot to check a box somewhere LOL It's awesome I can now contribute more into this awesome forum! thanks again! |
