Nearing the end of the year --- Been trying to push myself harder at the gym. More intensive reps, shorter breaks, stuff like that. Final month of 2010 --- Officially been with my new gym for 6 months. I feel good about my workouts at the place and I'm very pleased at some results. Tho I'm happy to see more definition and change, I also seem to be losing weight. Not large amounts, but small decrements over the months. Hmmm. I may just wonder if I should consider those protein shake things to bulk up, since I'm dedicated to my gym schedule now and I have been so for the last 6 months. Jan 2011 --- Things are ... not looking too great for 2011's forecast. Time of upheaval, but I'm determined to still make the most of my workouts. Dec 2010 - jan 2011 was a pretty bad workout month for me. I didn't eat properly, I didn't go as often to workout and the worst sin ... I didn't push myself as hard. Over the course of 3-4 months, the two guys I've gotten to sign up and workout with me ... have slowly withdrawn their frequency. I rarely see them nowadays. A little de-motivational but it doesn't change the fact I should have pushed myself harder. Honestly, I may have been distracted as well but the poor prospects of my current employment, and the sigh-ridden expectation of the year to come. Even the growing possibility of moving homes. But there is and will be one consistency, I will ALWAYS workout. --- Results weren't as good, partly expected from my mediocre performance this month at the gym and my poor diet. Best and Worst --- Crappy January. Car got busted up and is costing me well over a thousand. And it happened over the Chinese New Year holidays, the same day I went to the temple in the morning for prayers ... My fortune for the Rabbit year was not a fortuitious one -explains the axle of my car snapping on the SAME day as the temple blessing. And the gym buddies I roped in ... one pulled out. The other is going to study in Australia for his Degree for a couple of years, he leaves in 2 weeks. My diet was messed up I think over January coming from Decembers horrible binge eating (the bad sugar stuff) leading into Chinese New Year Cookies in early Feb .... And, I just found out my boyfriends company is transferring him out of the country for a few months ... pending longer stay if required. --- So it came as a shock to see my results at the gym. Approaching April --- Its March and my update is late. Not a great month for progress (work and gym). I think my numbers are getting worse. Its like i'm going back to my damned numbers back in July LAST YEAR when I started at the new gym!!! And I'm now convinced my last measurements for Feb were off the mark ... <--- saddest face in the world. I think i punched in the wrong height or something. Darn it ... Trying to behave better with my diet. Still very very uncertain about it all. Especially since I'm struggling with cash a bit now and poor food availability. So my bad On the other hand, I started taking supplements (Nutrabolics: Mass Fusion) to test run and see if there will be changes since my results for the past 6 months were a little stale. wow!There are things I'm paying attention to such as eating more (but healthily), keeping hydrated (I do love drinking water, and never have liked carbonated drinks), sleeping better and keeping consistent, which are strongly advised. |
