The "New" Captain America As you probably heard by now, Chris Evans will be Captain America in the upcoming film "The First Avenger: Captain America" which will be released in July of 2011. This is what Captain America looked like in the animated version. Do you think Chris Evans will try to look like this for the film? |

oh please god yes. he's such a fuckin stud already--i hope hey somehow manage to give us a hot live-action growth scene ~Ille __________________ just my thoughts as a writer Things happen. |

Chris Evans imagined by fans as Captain America |
| |||
Except who'll play the human torch now? __________________ Frank Easky aka F_R_Eaky |

They're "rebooting" the Fantastic Four franchise and are going to go with an entirely new cast, according to the Hollywood trades. |
| |||
eh, he looked better as the human torch, imo. Not quite supermasculine enough for Cap. America if you ask me. But no one did, so oh well xD |
| |||
Chris Evans is a bad choice for Cap'n Am. Don't get me wrong, Evans is HOT. But he's fratboy, boyishly hot. Captain America is all man. And kind of DILF-y (Daddy I'd like to fuck). Give Evans another ten years, he might get there. There's an idea: |
| |||
i agree, when the avengers movie comes out it may be a bit hard to imagine chris evans being the leader when he is obviously younger than robert downey jr(iron man) or edward norton(hulk) |
| |||
It's funny how you portray him as being a "Daddy" like figure, since the origin of Captain America was he was in World War II as the Super Soldier when he was around the age of 25, and was frozen in a chunk of ice and brought out of this frozen state about 50 years later, with the body and youth of how he was frozen. So really, he should be younger then Tony Stark to begin with. Chris would make an excellent Cap imho... He has a lot of experience already at playing hero roles, he deserves for once a chance to shine! He also is the right age for the part, and he has the look of a young Steve Rogers over the other guys that were fighting for the role... I mean with the recent Wonder-con panel that Chris was at for the movie the Losers, you could see he has the built for it! (He had it before too). Check out his arms! And filming is still quite a ways away, I am sure he will be getting MUCH bigger for the role... __________________ If it rusts, it can never be trusted If its owner fails to control it, it will cut him Yes, pride is Like a blade -Kubo Tite |

Well Chris Evans has a bit more muscle than Fanastic Four films but I think he needs a bit more of a work out to look like Captain America. |
| |||
Saw an interesting article about how they're going to handle his transformation. http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=65135 |
| |||
Some photos of Evans on the set. Looks like he's bulked up considerably. The prosthetic feet are certainly...interesting. |
| |||
at comicon he said he has a prosthetic body suit, which that probably is it in the pic |
| |||
I'm pretty sure the feet are the only prosthetic in the picture. There are more pictures online and it looks like he's supposed to be barefoot in the scene, so I'd assume they're just meant to be "foot protectors." |
| |||
That hair is working against his rugged looks (damn, Lucas Lee... er... I mean Chris Evans... is getting hotter as he gets older) but he looks great. I do agree that the foot prosthetics are kinda weird. Maybe he's auditioning for The Hobbit! I'd love to see him get bigger, of course. He looks fine for the movie but just imagine if he bulked up to Christian Bale's size for Batman Begins. Remember those rumors that Christopher Nolan wanted Bale to slim down because he got too big for the role? Imagine if that happened to Chris Evans... and then imagine that he refused to lose the muscle? |

more this is not morphed. http://hwhills.com/wp-content/upload.../chrismain.jpg the full gallery i think http://justjared.buzznet.com/2010/09...a-crotch-grab/ his back is very broad, you can see from this new video: http://www.movieweb.com/news/NEIkW8GKSloUMO |

Wow, looks like a comletely different person, maybe they could have hime playing both Cap and Johnny Storm! |

he's definitely transformed himself enough to be believable as captain america. impressive. I noticed in one of those new pics what looks like the chamber that cap is made in. It's pretty small and looks like you'll only be able to see his head, and that shirtless pic of him looks like it's just as he stepped out, so don't know if any of that is indicative of a decent growth scene. looks like it'll just be a "skinny" chris walking in and a buff one walking out. either way he looks amazing but it'd be nice to also see the actual transformation on screen |
| |||
Yeah... big hot guy. But is it just me or is he turning into Nicholas Cage? |
| |||
He does look a bit like Cage.......only He has hair and muscle........ |
| |||
Don't even joke about that. Nicholas Cage is EVIL. |
| |||
Their in my eyes! Their in my eyes! He needs to get a bit bigger for me to view him as Cap, but thats why they gave him a suit to wear as well. He should be big enough when the Avengers film comes around. But he's hot no matter what. __________________ Play nice people. |
