Ha! That's true. It's so full of pecs that it's tight under the arms. Another piece of clothing that I've outgrown!

Goddamn you are looking great. That third pic...wow. Massive! Indeed, you've never been so huge or strong. I wish I could get my hands on all that beef... I love how your pecs are so big, that they stretch out every shirt you wear.

I go to the gym every other day and I start every workout with benchpresses and then dumbbell flyes. The pump from the pressing followed by the stretching from the flyes works well for me.

Yes, I still do it if I'm sore. I do listen to my body, though. Sometimes I will have two or three rest days if I'm feeling run down. A bit of aching is quite nice, though.

I would guess that the aching in your pecs makes you want to do more presses and flys right TopHeavy?

Anyway, you should try and get sparkymcsparks to join your chest competition.

Unfortunately training's not gone well in the last couple of weeks because of a shoulder injury. Maybe now would be a good time to launch back into some heavy leg training to help me bulk up some more.

Hang in there, big guy. My shoulder has been gimpy since May but it's finally coming around. Perhaps your leg training would be a good focus while you have to ease up on your upper bod. Good luck.

Thanks dude. I am still benchpressing, but not quite firing on all cylinders. I did 140kg x 4 on the decline press, but I can feel it this morning. I tried some upright rowing with just 10kg but it was too painful. I can't do squatting either because holding the bar behind my neck makes my shoulder hurt. I always find that position uncomfortable. I can't do military presses behind the neck. Perhaps because my pecs are overdeveloped.

Still, hopefully my shoulder will be better in a week or two and then I'll be back on the creatine and onwards and upwards to bigger pecs.

I intend to film myself doing a heavy benchpress sometime this year for the purposes of entering a competition on bodybuilding.com. According to entries made so far, I'm one of the strongest in my weight category.

Hey, big man. Not sure if this will work for you or if it will be enough weight for your squats but, when I was getting back into the gym after surgery for a torn dislocated shoulder/rotator cuff, I found doing squats with the bar across the front of the neck and shoulders made it a hell of a lot easier on the shoulders...cross your arms and raise them parallel to the floor and come up under the bar on a rack...the shoulder structure and not just the muscle is helping to support the bar. It's not like you don't have enough of a pec shelf to help support the weight, too, and it keeps the strain off the shoulder muscles, etc. until you're fully healed. I protected mine until I was sure and I'm back at a 100% strength and range of mobility.

Good luck!!!

Thanks for the tip - I will give that a try. Is that what they call a front squat?

Training is really just plodding along at the moment. I do feel a lot better in the benchpress than I did a couple of months ago though. I will go back on the creatine soon and see if I can push the poundages up again.

Yep...front squat...sorry, I'm more into mechanics than names

Just make sure you're taking it slow...the shoulder is a BITCH of a joint for some folks. I was VERY lucky...and very cautious. If you feel pain in the joint at all...STOP!

Hah! Thanks. I've been taking a breather from posting vids because I'm recovering from an injury. I've been feeling a bit better in the last couple of weeks and I think I may be about ready for another course of creatine.

The aim this year is to return to the levels of power I had last summer and then carry on piling on the chest pounds throughout the autumn.

Really? It usually takes about a week for me to notice any difference. It's definitely a great supplement though.
